Hi Girls,
It is now 5:00p.m., and I am just getting around to posting. I am taking it easy today (and did yesterday too) after walking around Hershey Park. My mom is still here this week, until I can drive (on Friday). DS #1 is still testing limits (big time), so I am just staying as consistent as I can...
Last night was a bit rough, as Aidan didn't want to be in his crib. So, we were up from 11:00p.m.-4:00a.m.:( I hope everyone is having a great day!
Yeah to Candra!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never posted on the TTC/Preg check-ins, but do you have room for another on the post-partum? It may take me awhile to get up to speed on the lives of everyone, but I hope to have more time to spend on cathe.com and would love to join the group!

About me:
Lisa, age 27, married to Nick
1 child, Caden, born 9/16
Live in Minnesota
Career: Human Resources...returning full-time in December

I SO miss consistent , uninterrupted workouts. I worked out through pregnancy, and although I've lost 16 of the 18lbs I gained, my clothes feel so small!!

I'm managing about 45-60minutes on Sat/Sun when DH is home, but the weekday workouts are hit and miss. Caden is a super light sleeper, so naps are short and rare, and nighttime has me with lots of lost sleep as I'm always up for several hours each night. I know there WILL be a day when I can work out a little more consistently, but I'm getting impatient and oh so antsy to work my butt (ok my WAIST) off!!

Sorry for such a long intro...I like to talk ;)

Welcome, Lisa! My friend has a little boy named Caden as well. I have two boys, one is 3 1/2, and the other was just born on Oct. 7th (Aidan), the other one is Andy. I feel HUGE right now, still waiting for swelling, etc. to go down in my mid-section so I don't look so pregnant anymore. I look forward to "talking" with you!

Hi Again,
I just read some posts from yesterday.
Kristan-Cute picture! What a doll Mimi is! I love the hair. You look great!
My info:
Name: Jen
Occupation: teacher (and mom), currently on maternity leave
Married to a teacher
Live in Harrisburg, PA
33 years old
two boys (Andy-3 1/2 and Aidan-2 weeks old tomorrow)
I had a c-section (my 2nd one)
And for the record, I don't think I will be fitting in any pre-pregancy clothes anytime soon! I just hope that something fits before I go back to work in January!

Stephanie-Yes, I had my 2nd c-section. I still have lots of gas and all the other fun stuff to go along with the c/section.

I just sat down to pump b/c my right breast is very engorged. Well, the pump that I borrowed from my friend is missing the tubing:(. I just found a site online and ordered it. And, I thought I was all ready to go with my new breat shields:D. My breast feels like it is going to explode! I have to go wake up Aidan. Judging by how much he slept today, it is going to be a LONG night:confused:.

hi guys

i am so hoping to join the post partum checkin but, i will only post once or twice a week - things are crazy all the time!!

first, big congrats to you jen. aidan is adorable, and i love the name;) i know finn (ds !) acted out a lot the first 6 weeks. he adores his baby brother now, though. good luck with the c/s healing. i found it so frustrating and painful, but quickly over!

hi kate - congrats to you too! what an amazing delivery! and cooking already! you are a marvel. hope things continue to go well, and i hope the ppd stays away.

hi stephanie - so good to see your posts. you sound wonderful too. feeling good?

hi kristin - i love the pick. mimi has more hair than my 28 month old:) aidan is still quite bald but adorable. you look gorgeous too!

hi maggie - how is school going? how do you manage it all???

hi lisa marie, and welcome. i know what you mean about uninterrupted wokrouts. i get up at 4:45am and still get interrupted. it willget better.

hi to all else. i have been lurking lots, so i feel caught up with people, but i have not had the time to post. i 'd love to get support here though. things are great with finn and aidan. aidan is now 4.5 months and so big. he rolls all over and is starting to sit up. he is trying to keep up with big brother i think. finn is wonderful. he has adjusted so well to aidan, and i am quite proud. we definately have lots of 2 yo moments, but i love it. dh is still traveling lots - he leaves in november for 4 weeks! i am back at work part time and it is okay. i miss my boys though. i am running lots and lots - have really increased my milage. i do upper bdy weights a few times a week. my weight from baby is gone and my clothes are all nice and comfy (some even roomy). i am breastfeeding only and the pumping is going great - love my medela. now, if aidan would sleep a little more....

sorry for the book - i am just not sure when i will be back. i really hope to figure out how to post a picture sometime.
