Hello Mommies:) :)

Can you beleive its getting close to May month. Last yr this time Dec seemed so far away! LOL

Rylan is doing good and as been sleeping pretty good. Trying to get him on some kind of schedule now. But when he goes to bed at 7:30, then he is up earlier. Last night was perfect b/c he went to bed at 9 and didn't wake till 4 and I had went to bed at 10...so I had 6 hours of sleep:) The most in a long time! But when he goes to bed at 7:30, I stay up b/c I know he is gonna want to eat around 11:30 so whats the point in going to bed and only getting an hour?

He weighed 14.9 lbs this week and I have been giving him cereal:) I know Im not suppose to yet but oh well!

This weeks workouts were goodies. I came up with a rotation to follow and I think I am going to enjoy it.

Mon: PS Back,Bic, KM and a 30 mins run in the p.m
Tues: Unplanned rest day ( I think I walked though)
Wed: PS Ches,Tri,Shou/ Circuit Max/ walk
Thurs: Walk/ 4 mile run
Fri: GS legs/ walk/ 4 mile run in the p.m
Sat: MM bic, tri, shou, and CTX bic, tri, shoul, 4 mile run

I have also been working my abs almost everyday and my stomach is getting flatter. I use to leave my abs for the end of the workout and it would never get done b/c something else would happen. SO now I put it at the beginning of my workout!

Have a good week everyone!
Lori

Hi Mommies,

I hope you're all doing well with your little ones! We have really been enjoying the mild weather and are spending lots of time in our backyard. Olivia really seems to enjoy the scenery out there:+

Lori - Yippee!! I'm so glad to hear that Rylan is sleeping better. Was adding the cereal to his milk the trick? Olivia is starting rice cereal this week so I'm excited to see if it will reduce the nighttime feedings. We usually put her to sleep between 7:30 and 8:30 and she will sleep til about 8:00 in the morning with one to two feedings. It works well for me because I get in the bed around 9:00 and get up at 4:00 for workouts.

Tomorrow is Olivia's next Dr. appt. I can't wait to see what she weighs!

I was finally able to work for 4 days. Here's what I did last week:

Sunday: Step Blast, Abs
Monday: Overslept!
Tuesday: Stretch Max
Wednesday: Rest day
Thursday: Low Max, lunges, Ab Hits#7
Friday: Rest day
Saturday: Step Blast, Legs and Glutes, Core Max1

Have a great week :)

Hi mommies,

Looks like you are all doing well, that's great! Heidi and I are doing great as well. She is getting so big, it is unbelievable how fast she is growing. Her next Dr.'s appointment is on May 11th, more shots ;( , but I think we will be starting cereal, so I am excited!!!

Here are my workouts from last week:

Mon - Core Synergestics
Tue - Cardio X
Wed - Arms and Shoulders and Ab Ripper X
Thu - Yoga with Steve Ross (Yoga X is 90 minutes and really intense and it is hard for me to find 90 min to workout with Heidi, so I thought I do a little shorter and easier workout)
Fri - off
Sat - Legs and Back and Abs from Abs Hits
Sun - Kenpo X

Lori - My Dr. will probably start Heidi on cereal in 2 weeks, so I don't think it is too early for Rylan. When does your Dr. want to start him on cereal?

Trish - You got some nice workouts in SB and L&G in one day, wow, that is great!!!

Ok, gotta go, but I will check back later
Kristine :)

Kristine, when the health nurse came to visit me when Rylan was first born, the papers she gave me to read said that you could start them on cereal from 4-6 monthes. Apparently they have changed it since then and now they are saying 6 monthes. I started him on cereal a while ago but not consistent. Now I have been giving it to him in the evenings and he starting to like it!

He was going to bed at 7:30 but waking again at 11 to eat, so Im trying to change it to 8:30-9 b/c I can go to bed at 10 and get up with him around 3 ish. But when he goes to bed at 7:30 I have to stay up and wait for him to feed.

YOu both got some good workouts in this week!

Trish,, I started giving him straight cereal. I am breastfeeding so I can't put it in a bottle...LOL Thats not why he is sleeping better though. He only started sleeping better this past week and that could change again b/c he as done that to me before.Tease!

Lori:)

Hi Everyone!
Sounds like you're all doing well and your babies are getting good sleep:) That's wonderful! Ryan has his 4month checkup next week and I'll talk to my doctor about rice cereal. We did mix some with his bottles today, but I think gave him a bit too much because he was spitting up pretty badly. So, going to just ease him into it a bit better and see how he does. His sleep is still going really well, he's been pretty consistent falling asleep around 8ish, and then only wakes up once a night (usually after a good 9-11 hour stretch).

Had a very busy but fun week last week with my daughter's 4th birthday party and also surprised my twin sister for her baby shower (she's due with her first in June) in TX this weekend. Lot's of fun, but I ate WAY too much cake :(! I was able to get 4 workouts in last week and hoping to get in 5 this week, and still trying to increase intensity. Here's what I got done last week:
Monday – Elliptical (30min)
Tuesday – Shape Transforming Workout (Toning 30min)
Wednesday – Cathe F. Low Impact Step (40 min)
Thursday –Rest Day
Friday – Elliptical (30min)
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – Rest Day

Hope you all have a great week!

Stacey
