Popping knee..

Hoping someone can help me. Recently, I've noticed that my knee 'pops' when I'm working out; particularly during step aerobics. I also noticed that after a while of being curled up on the couch, my knee is a little sore when I straighten my leg. I'm 32, but was diagnosed with pre-osteoporis last year, so I'm a little concerned. Do you think I need to get it checked out by a doctor?

All I can say is, take care of those knees! I keep dealing with overuse injuries and am constantly modifying my workouts so that I don't strain it again. You might want to take a rest week and see if it improves. If it doesn't, since you do already have a pre-existing medical situation, it wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to the doc. Be sure you describe the type of workouts you do, and see what he thinks. Take care.
