Pop Up Blocker???

I downloaded Yahoo Messenger at the request of a friend and like I thought, it screwed up my computer.

I need to turn the "pop up blocker" that it installed OFF. I tried uninstalling the program but didn't work. Anyone know how to turn Pop Up Blocker OFF???

Did you try in Internet Explorer Tools/Internet Options/Privacy?

You should have a toolbar on the top with what looks like a yellow web page with a blue strip across the top of it with a yellow shield in the front, click on that tab it should have a little black arrow pointing down next to it... and then when you click on it, you should see something that say disable pop-up blocker,click on it, and its disabled..... hope this helps...........
