Ponytail/Hair elastics

I'm wondering if you have any recs for snag-less hair elastics please? Was using Goody for YEARS (mostly the clear ones), although they have changed in the past couple of years as the quality is pure crap now. They just snap while my hair is up which is unacceptable. Their jelly like ones are even worst quality although they look much thicker. I have a lot of hair although it is getting finer and tends to break.
I've read some good things about the Scunci ones http://intl.target.com/p/scunci-no-...-/A-15129589#prodSlot=medium_1_15&term=scunci although I would still really, really like to find something transparent.

I have very thick hair and have switched from ponytails (which can make my neck sore when my hair's longer) to twisting my hair up quickly with a beaded double comb and then using an elastic headband to keep flyaway hair away from my face. I use the double combs all the time anyway and ended up having to use them while exercising once when I couldn't find a ponytail elastic - I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked and that's all I use now. They're also more comfortable when I'm lying on the step for chest and back work, etc. I love them and have acquired several sets!

Those looked very pretty Zora, thanks so much!! :) And something that's not poking my head during weight work (and pilates) is excellent. I don't often do a conventional ponytail then anyway. I do a small bun on top and wrap the bottom part of my hair into it. These twin combs seem more sensible.

They seem rubbery as if the would rip strands of hair out trying to take them out. After using Wen, I cannot afford to lose any more hair! (Sorry, I threw a dig in there, but it was true, for me at least).
