Front to back, left to right, not much. I'd say only a few feet in either direction, unless you can jump really far. Up and down, it requires a bit. I'm 5'8", and by the time I put all 4 risers and the step topper on, I have to be careful where I am positioned. I have low ceilings in the basement and have bonked my head on more than 1 occasion I have to make sure I'm btwn the floor joists when I go up.
I say the length of your resistance band.
The only exercise I remember that moves away from the step are one legged hops, side to side jumps, but that's all I can remember for now.
Of course, everything is a blurr after Cathe makes us do one legged squat thrusts.
I wonder how in the world she thinks these things up??!!
