Hi everybody!
We see there are already a few hotels questions, so we thought we'd get out front on this for you guys with some basic info about the hotels and about pricing. We realize these factors are important for you. First, though:
[font color=red][font size=4]PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE --- DO NOT CALL THE HOTELS TO RESERVE A ROOM UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED AND KNOW THAT YOU HAVE GOTTEN A SPOT ON ONE OF THE ROAD TRIPS.[/font color][/font size]
We ask this because the hotels will NOT have their reservation system ready for your phone calls (with our designated blocks of rooms and special rates) until we give them the Official Go-Ahead, and we aren't doing that until registration closes. }( Seriously, we aren't trying to be sneaky or confusing; it's that we don't want our blocks of rooms to be tied up by understandably-excited people making "just in case" reservations, cancelling them, etc. Too much potential confusion for us hard-working Coordinator Girls and for the hotels. ;-) There's plenty of time, y'all, and room for everybody. Wait Listers, we assure you that there will be rooms available later if you need one.
