Please Pray Policeman Update

I just posted this on my original thread but thought I'd start a new thread just in case you miss the other...

Thank you all SO MUCH. Please keep praying. We got a call this morning that they were taking him off of all machines and medications and that he didn't have long to live. His body is shutting down. We went to the hospital. After a bit his son came out and said that another doctor wanted to put him back on everything because he feels there is a 20% chance he will live. The other doctors do not agree with doing this. But of course you have to go with whatever hope there is. The doctor said they would know in 12 hours. If he is going to get better he will start improving and if he is not, he will continue to decline.

Please pray for his family as well. He has a son and a daughter - grown - and his son had tears when he was giving the update. I just can't imagine. They just lost their mom not that long ago.

Thanks again everybody. If he pulls through, I'm going to have to print all of these responses from all of you and show him what a fabulous group of people were pulling for him! That should help him through recovery.

Thanks for the update Suz - renewed prayers for whatever God's will is. The suffering is so hard on everyone. Please continue to keep us posted. Your DH and your family are in our prayers too.

Oh Suz, I am so sorry. How sad for the kids after such a loss with their Mom. I will continue to pray. MIRACLES DO happen! Hugs to you all!

Oh my gosh, how truly sad! Suz, I wish there was something we could do to ease their and your pain. I know the heartache of losing loved ones. Please know I will continue to keep them and you in my prayers. A big hug to your DH too!

Reading your post is making me tear up. This is so sad. I hope he makes it. I really do. Sounds like this man has soooo many reasons to live, and only one reason to die-to be w/his late wife. She will wait for him. He needs to finish living his life first. I sooo hope he pulls through.

this road also. My heart goes out to you, your family, his
