Playstation 2 owners

Just in case your kids never told you. Playstation 2 is also a DVD and a CD player. So, you CAN do Cathe on DVD's on PS2. (My kids wish I didn't know this, because I'm "hogging".) Horrors!

Just thought I'd post this in case somebody didn't know.;-)

Hi Julie, I just started using my son's PS2 a couple weeks ago with Power Hour+. I use the game controler, but I know you can buy a separate dvd clicker for it. Do you have that? I wondered how easy that worked since I am very technologically disabled.

Hi Lauren, I don't have the remote. I'm too afraid to buy it for fear that it will get lost/broken just like every other remote I've owned. But the game controller doesn't bother me. I've finally gotten familiar with the functions, only took me six months.:) We did just send PS2 into Sony for repairs two weeks ago and I couldn't believe that they had it back to me in 9 days, all return postage paid, all free repairs. I just about fell on the floor. I guess I'm pretty happy with it, although I do envy those who have multi-disc dvd players.

This is too funny...

Julie, what a hoot!

My sons, ages 12 and 15, have literally grown up with my Cathe addiction, especially my 12-year-old who doesn't really remember much about life before Mom became a close personal intimate slavishly-devoted cyber-and-video pal with Cathe. :) I do have a really rot-gut but functional DVD player in the attic room where I exercise (some off-shore brand that I got on an after-Christmas sale for $99.00, I swear), but I am SO tempted to take their PS2 up there just for grins! The vision of me using their game controller to surf around my Cathe DVD's -- and the vision of them watching me with their jaws dropped wide open -- is just too funny!
