Personal "Nutrition" Trainer??

I have no interest in joining a gym for my workouts as my work schedule is honestly too crazy for that, but I am interested in being accountable for my diet/weight. Can you join a gym just for a nutrition diet "trainer"? I dont want to have someone who just gives me a vague plan, we meet once and then never again. I'm not interested in going to Weight Watchers Meetings either. I've seen some online sources but I really need a live person to report to and also criticize me if need be.

The nutrition trainers are specialized, meaning they are not the regular personal trainers that you find at a gym.
I believe you can log on to the American Council on Exercise (acefitness.org) and search for a Nutrition Specialist in your area... I know you can do that for their ACE-certified Personal Trainers.
Good luck!

aw, bummer. You may want to look for a certified nutritionist. Actually, a really great book by Nancy Clark is called Sports Nutrition Guidelines and I found it extremely useful. I'm sure you can get the book on Amazon for less than her web page -
http://www.nancyclarkrd.com/. If you create a food diary you will be holding yourself accountable. Or, perhaps someone else wants to start a Diet Check-In with you? You're definitely on the right track with your lifestyle!
