Personal Goals Check-In - Aug. 1/05

Here are my goals for August....

1. Modified "no sweets" challenge - I will allow one sweet treat per week if I really really want it. I do better when I leave myself this little out. Kind of reverse psychology, "okay you have one, do you really want it?" Last month this worked very well for me.

2. Clean and purge my house also. I follow Flylady.net, however, I've fallen off the wagon as of late. I need to get back to my routines. I am much happier when I am. DD is moving out and I need to start "flinging" in my extra bedroom so I can make it a w/o room.

3. Stay faithful to my eating plan (the Sarah way) and tracking on fitday. I simply cannot believe the body fat I've lost and the lean muscle mass I've gain since starting this program on July 6th. It is so motivating and gratifying to see the numbers and see the changes in my body.

4. Do 15 pushups on my toes - baby steps. I have done 11, let's see if I can get up to 15.

5. Okay, I'm going to write this down - do 1 pike on the stability ball. That is all I am going to aim for because right now my butt won't even budge in the upward direction on that ball. If I am able to accomplish just 1, I'll be happy.
 
Last month I printed out my goal and taped them up at my desk so I could see them every day. This really helped me. Just wanted to share this in case someone else has problems forgetting their goals halfway through the month.

I'm really trying hard to up my protein intake, and my appetite has diminished because of it.
