Praise the LORD!!!! RAIN! finally. we got a bunch today. the creek is runnin' like crazy. what a beautiful site. only 73 today. a blessed relief, for sure!!!!

can't remember when i checked in last. grandkids were here yesterday. we rode for awhile, played in the rain. kids rode bikes thru the puddles. so fun. they are so adorable!

tues--did ch & back disc 31 (think i posted that)
wed--no workout
today- did plyo legs (disc 32) for the 2nd time this week. tomorrow or sat. is disc 33. then next week is the end.

ya'll have a beautiful weekend if i don't get back here for a bit.

Good evening,

I wish it was autumn here. Today was in the 80's and my airconditioner went out again. The repair guy was here before doctor's appt and I just left him working( I know the people and trust them). I get home and it is still 85 degrees and stays that way all afternoon and it is only blowing room temperature air. Dh gets home and I tell him we should just shut it off because it was not working. He looks and finds out ac is off and the guy only has it set to fan. No wonder it didn't work. At least it is working now.

The doctor's appt lasted more than an hour. So much of the time is waiting. This was the radiation oncologist.

I'm still thinking about working out but it might be a rest day.

The notice about the tower was in the sts forum. Power tower delivery date or some such title.

Finally Friday!

Good morning all,

Today I did Meso 2, week 1 Back & Biceps. I had to do 2 body parts today because of not doing any yesterday. Kind of funny but I got 3 cardio sessions, and all but legs done in 4 days of working out instead of 6. mmm...I am think I will like this rotation. It also seemed to move the weight down.

Garance, we had wonderful weather here yesterday, more like early summer. 70's and no humidity. I loved it. I forgot to look at SYTYCD..can't wait for DWTS starting Monday, however I think they have too many people on. Is it true that it will be on 3 nights a week at first? ugh...Lots of taping for me. I did not get any e-mail on the Tower info...it was in a thread on one of the other forums...like Joan said.....

Joan, I can't believe you are considering a workout at 1:00 am or later...are there more tests for your Mom?

MIL is not doing well at all. She has been in the hospital for a few days, kidneys are not working right, they did dialysis, (sp?) not sure she will be able to go home...DH and I have plane reservations to go on 9/24. It was supposed to be a reunion of the family, all were going to be there....she is tired and talking about giving up...

Hi Ladies,

I did not wo yesterday, I have no excuse. I just did not feel like doing anything.
Today is my regular day off. Tomorrow I will wo with Kevin + spinning and Sunday just spinning. I will be going to the Hollywood Bowl tomorrow to listen to Brazilian music.
The theme is "Blame it on Rio" there will be a firework show to.

Cathy, congratulations on the rain!

Joan, I could not work out so late in the evening. I'm usually falling asleep by 10:00 PM.

Deb, thank your for the information. I will tell my Vet about the Atopica.

Hi Deb, Josie, Joan, and Cathy--

This morning I did the Cardio and Weights premix on BM2 (70.5 min.).

It's raining here today, which it has not done for over a week. But I don't think the temp will even get into the 60s. I'm just not ready for this yet.

No plans for this weekend. DH has soccer games to referee and I could go to the annual college party--reception to welcome new faculty--but I don't feel like it, and I am still on leave. I might go to a movie tomorrow, though. I still haven't seen District 9, which has received excellent reviews.

Sorry to hear about your mil, Deb. My fil is doing fine, but he has developed some kind of chronic neurological condition that has made him feel vulnerable. So he keeps saying, "I just cannot orchestrate things anymore. I will leave it to you younger folks." He was the great organizer of family reunions, but clearly doesn't want that responsibility anymore.

Joan, I cannot even imagine working out when you do. I feel like a saint getting up every morning at 6:15 to exercise. After midnight, I would probably feel like a martyred saint.

Good Morning all,

No workout today, this is my "official" rest day, although I did rest on Thursday too. I still feel like I had a good week, since I did 3 cardio workouts and all the "body parts" from the STS week.

We are going out for breakfast, then in the village where we are going they are having some type of street fair, where shopkeepers set up tables outside etc. It should be nice.
