Happy Weekend everyone!
Nothing planned this weekend except the usual, agility class, I have a haircut, and pedicure this afternoon. Ahhh...relaxing.
I can say, I love books as well, and I still get them from the library. I have switched to getting the Large print ones, because my eyes have gotten worse for close reading. This way I do not have to wear my reading glasses. The Nook solves that by letting you pick the size font you want. It's also so convenient, I can take 10 books with me on vacation, and only have to carry the small Nook. Great when flying. It will never completly replace books for me. I got it because of how much I use the library, and it was the only one at the time that would work with downloading from the library. Now the Kindle and iPad do that as well
As for the recordkeeping (LOL! I know what you mean)...I found myself getting books from the library and not knowing I read them until I sat down all comfortable, ready to read, and after the first couple of pages, knowing that I had read this...ugh! so I started listing the ones I read on a spreadsheet, and then adding ones I wanted to read....and it just grew from there.
It is supposed to be a scorcher today and tomorrow, then rain Monday. Doesn't matter to me, being off of work is what is important!
Take care,
