Good afternoon Cathy, Garance, Deb and Josie,

This is 4th day of calorie counting. I went out to eat today but don't think I did too bad. (I haven't added it up)

I did plyo legs disc 26 last night but finished too late to check in. I think I like it better than other. I modified a little but not as much as I thought I would have to. Many of the moves my former trainer used.

I bought the e book Burn the Fat and Feed the Muscle a couple of months ago. Today I got an email with 5 new books free. Tom Venuto seems to think goal setting is the most important part of losing weight and gaining muscle. What I found most interesting was the "book" on word usage. He wants you to set goals using precise language, like I want to discard unwanted body fat rather than I want to lose weight. It's something about your subconscious mind has a tendency to interpret words literally
and could help defeat your goal because nobody wants to be a loser. He also says he doesn't want you to "try" to lose weight. Like Yoda said it's do or do not there is no try.

I don't know what is on the schedule to do today. I will check in later.

yes , it is still HOT!!! it is 9pm right now and it is 99'. how do ya like that? i have heard of the movie, but i've never seen it.

garance, my GK's are, nicola 4yrs, owen 2yrs, lanae, 5mo. they are adorable. i am trying to get some pics up on a site so ya'll can see them, cuz they are soooo cute. we have them tonite, and we are going to my parents to visit tomorrow. they love great-nana & great-papa. and, i do have some of cathe's circuits, i do have low impact circuit, and i have drill max, and cardio fusion, imax 3, don't know if those are circuits. i have some i have recorded off of fittv. guess i'm not real sure which ones of hers are circuits. i do not have a whole lot of hers. i love her workouts, but they are very hard on my feet.

deb, i have heard and read several places that a banana is the perfect post-workout snack. and i did have a good breakfast, same thing i always eat, i don't know what the deal was. i did another hard cardio today and i was fine. it was very strange.

Garance, are the Lescroart books a series with a main character or are they all stand alone? Regarding that site with the police seized stuff, how do you know that the jewelry is good quality? On the Plyo legs, I modified a lot, so the impact wasn't bad, but I didn;t thing you really got much actual leg work in. I like the regular squat rack ones better, I just wanted to see what they were all about.

Joan, I have BFFM book too. It's a good program, it takes a lot of dedication and will power!

This morning I did 4 fast miles with Leslie (50 min.), music only.

Deb, the Lescroart books do revolve around the same group of characters, although a couple of them do get killed off. I really miss this one old guy. But it's mostly Dismas Hardy, Abe Glitzky, and Wes Farrell. Wes Farrell always has these great t-shirts. In this most recent book, he is wearing one that says, Mothers Against Dyslexia! DAM. I'm sure if you go to Amazon you can figure out how to read them chronologically. I read some of them out of order, but I know how you are, Deb--you like to do things in order. Hey, on the jewelry, they have pretty good descriptions and the pictures are good, too. I think you can return the item, too.

Cathy, Nicola is so cute! Is that her Dad she is riding with?

Joan, I would love to discard some cellulite. I'm going to concentrate on that thought over my vacation at the beach. Oh, and then I would love to lose some crow's feet.

Hey Josie, that was a great bid on those earrings. I still don't have pierced ears. DH keeps telling me that it would open up new gifting possibilities for him.

Hi Deb, Garance, Josie and Cathy,

I did LIC late last night. Didn't get to bed until 4:30. I need to find a time to exercise consistently. Midnight wasn't too bad but 2am is terrible. I don't think I'm over the time change from vacation.

I have started to add Leslie's Walk Away the Pounds program to my sts and cardio. The book just has you walking 1-3 miles per day. I'm not over eating but I can't believe how few calories I use per day.

thanks guys! well, uh, the tall guy on the horse is my son, and that is nicola w/him, but that was about a yr. ago. and, that is me on the paint horse and i think i'm on the bay too. i have long hair. i'm not looking at the pics right now, but i think that is it. i don't look at them very much. anyway, did i tell the names and ages of the kids? i don't remember.

Hi all,

Busy day today. I have to take Kelsey to the vet...she has developed some type of nasty cough, almost like she has a hair ball! Always something, Then we have the exhibit to go to this afternoon and dinner out with the same people.

I was reading open discussion about best quotes. I liked "Worry does not empty tomorrow of sorrow - it empties today of strength" Carrie Ten Boom.

It looks like reunion is coming along. I still am trying to find some classmates. David is flying in from Germany Friday night at 8pm. It is a 5 hour drive to Momence, Il. I don't want to get in the same day as the event and I don't think he should be in a car that long after flying that long. Undecided if I really want to go. We were supposed to drive up Thurs. and come back Monday. Dinner on Sat. and picnic on Sunday. It's just too much to drive up Sat. and come back late Sun. Decisions, Decisions.

I did disc 27 at 9pm and that worked pretty well but I still didn't get to bed until 3am. I'm tired but not sleepy.

No wo yet today.
