Happy Friday Ladies,

The memorial service for my friend was very nice, but I’m disappointed that the heads of the department did not get up and say a few words. She helped them so much and they did not make a move without consulting her first. She used to come in on weekends and stay late for them and they didn’t have the guts to get up to say something nice about her;(

I will be riding tomorrow (40 miles) and Sunday (51miles with hills) if it does not rain. Otherwise I will be spinning on Sunday.

I will be going to the dentist this afternoon. Not looking forward to that visit!

Hi Deb, Josie, and Valerie--

This morning I did Athletic Training (56 min.).

Josie, you are right. Someone should have composed a eulogy for your friend if she was that dedicated to her work. Did she have many family members?

Deb, I thought all of the contestants, except for Derek Hough's partner (he just kept twirling her around like a rag doll) were pretty impressive. Martina Navratilova I can't really remember either way. I was fixated on how odd she looked off the tennis court and all dolled up. Weekend plans: probably go to see Hunger Games and definitely a Comfort Sunday meal. I am so enjoying this weather. I finished cleaning up my gardens, so now DH will bring on the manure mix. I had to rip up some of my bee balm. It seems to be taking over everything. I think this is our last really warm day before the weather changes (sigh!).

Going out for breakfast, picking up my Saab from storage, then agility class with Keegan. Hopefully it won't rain today, but it is supposed to be a lot cooler than it has been.
