Cathlete
Good Morning!

Today I did Pyramid Upper Body ( up only pre-mix). I did some of the ab work, but those pikes and things on the ball are not for me! I can barely do the "knee-in" version, which I think I am doing incorrectly because as Cathe says don;t hunch your back, I see my back hunched up in the mirrorx( .

Garance:
I give you a lot of credit for even attempting that Boot Camp workout on 4DS. I just can't see myself doing that stuff, plus I don;t have a lot of room to run around. I wanted to ask about how you use the Ciment hair product...do you use it alone right before drying? About how much do you use? I had to squint really hard to even read the writing on the tube, and it doesn't give any directions that I can see. I have to use straightener products on my hair, so when I used it, I mixed the two and put them on together. I didn;t see much difference regarding repairing, probably too soon to see any, but the straightener didn;t work as well. Regarding the Absolute Kickboxing, I wanted a core workout that was not crunches and something different, like the 4DS one is. I just can;t figure out how to maneuver around that DVD.

All:
I am intrigued by the Butler Bag.. I have been looking at them on the website and on Ebay for a while, but wanted to see if there was anyone that had one, and what they thought. Also, is the Classic too small? or the Hybrid too big? From what I have read, if you have a large wallet, it won;t fit in the side of the Classic, between the bag and the dividers. A hybrid can fit a large book or small lap top!

Here is a link:

Jen, Linny and all that follow:

Have a great day!

Deb:)

Good Morning Ladies:
Deb: Just checked out the Butler Bag. I liked the way everything is so organized, but I wonder if its a pain to clean on the inside?Do you know if those little trays just come out? I definitely would need a hybrid.
Garance: Its nice to have good restraurants close but it has its downfalls, especially in the waist dept.
Well no car again. I'm starting to think that someone screwed up and never ordered it. My DH says if its not here by this weekend he is going to the car dealership and having a talk with management.
It would be nice to get today since its my day off. I'll check back in later.~Linny~

Hi Deb and Linny--

I decided to do just the cardio step on LIS this morning. I have this one down. It's really fun. On the Kimberly Spreen, what I remember is a lot of yoga-like moves and balance stuff. It struck me as not just being about the abs. As I said, I really didn't like it so I only did it once. I hope I don't have it confused with the core stuff on my other two Spreens (none of which I liked).

I put a quarter-size dollop in my palm of the ciment thermique, comb it through, then my usual mousse and hairsetting. I think I read this at the makeupalley site, so I followed it. My hair, though, is thin and fine, so it doesn't take much.

I have a satchel size Coach bag. I don't think I care for all those organizing pockets. I would probably start feeling anxious about not keeping them organized--because I know I wouldn't!

I'm surprised it's taking so long to get your car, Linny. Usually a dealership can find what you want from another nearby dealer if they don't have it.

Teaching this afternoon--the Robber Bride. Fun!

Happy Sleepy Tuesday, All,

The Bullet Bag doesn't seem to be for me, Deb, but my purse is pretty organized as is. It does look very pretty.

Deb, I finally bit the bullet and got up at 4 a.m. to exercise this morning. This was prompted by the fact that my daughter and 2 grandsons were at my house when I got home yesterday, so that made 3 days in a row without exercise.

It was . . . not easy. Actually doing the DVD wasn't any harder than any other time. The hard part was getting up when the alarm went off. I felt fine at the time, great after my shower, hungry as a horse (although I did have an energy bar when I finished), and great after breakfast at work, but now I'm fighting to stay awake and consuming more caffeine than normal. I'm sure it'll get easier as time goes by, right, Deb? Please say yes!

Tomorrow, I plan to do High Step Training. This should be a pretty good test since it's 60 minutes long, and contains both cardio and weights. Today, I eased into this new routine with a Leslie Sansone walking DVD and a 30-minute Classical Stretch.

Crossing my fingers for your car, Linny.

Uh-oh, Garance, I just ordered 2 Kimberly Spreen workouts. I've never tried her before.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Hi Ladies and Happy New Year,

I ended up getting sick during my vacation and had to take my GS to his home sooner than I wanted to. I did manage to do the half marathon on Sunday the 6th, it took me 2 hours and 28 minutes, but I finished. It was hard, because I had not done anything for 2.5 weeks. Hopefully I can get back on track, I did not gain any weight during my vacation, so I'm happy about that.

Today I will be running my 5.5 miles.

Now back to work.

Josie
