Pentagenarians & Beyond: Thursday!

Good morning!

Sorry I did not start the thread tyesterday...I did get there late but I am sure no one read it so I am copying some of it here! I had to be at work at 6:00 yesterday, about 20 miles away so I left the house at 5:15...way too early!
Could not get up this morning to workout either!

I can't believe you can get through that workout!

I am using the heaviest I can handle for 2/15 for the lower & upper body. There are push ups and some core work on the stability ball, ( eg those planks that Cathe does and regular crunches).

Good morning!! Yesterday was Slow & Heavy/Chest & Back. I also walked 25 minutes at work. Today I will walk again 25 minutes as well, and this morning I did the first third of the circuit from Iron Core Way Volume 2. This is a more advanced circuit than Volume 1, but I like a lot!!

Busy, busy, busy!

Hi Deb, Carol, and any later posters--

Yesterday I did Lauren's kettlebell workout (45 min.), and this morning I did Leslie's 4 Fast Miles, music only (50 min.).

I never got around to checking in yesterday. I had a two-hour appointment to get my highlights, and then when I came to campus, the surge of students trying to get into one of my courses had to be handled. Thank goodness the course is capped at 19 or I would have a regular deluge of papers to read, because this is a "writing intensive" course.

Of course, now that classes have begun, summer has decided to return with temps in the high 80s after an August that was cool and rainy. Blech!

Wow, Deb, sorry you have to get up so early!

Things seem to have quieted down for a bit here, but it's the lunch hour. Who knows what will happen this afternoon?
