This morning I did Live Cardio Core Fusion. Fun workout that really kept my heart rate up. 6 rounds of cardio, a walking plank and standing core with a 10 lb weight. Then I did STS2 Body Parts Legs and Shoulders No Repeats. We're supposed to get a LOT of rain followed by 2-4" of snow, or 1-2" depending on where you look, and I'm supposed to go pick up my new reading glasses tomorrow morning. Hoping for the lighter side. Just have to drive the 10 minutes into town, but if the snow has been blowing the drifts could be nasty.
I haven’t been able to work out for most of this week, but I’ve been physically active. My family was here, but they are slowly starting to leave. We‘ve been working on things for my husband’s situation and taking care of him. Times are very different.
I don’t have time for personals, but I’m keeping up with your workouts. I hope that everyone is having a good day.
Friday I did 45 minutes of Peloton strength work and my PT work. Yesterday I did a short walk and my PT work. Today I did a 60-minute Peloton ride and my PT work. I’m doing the PT work twice a day and it’s been taking 20-25 minutes each time.
Carolyn-I’m keeping you and your husband in my thoughts as you go through this stressful time.
Cathy-Great job with Live Cardio Core Fusion and STS2 Body Parts Legs and Shoulders No Repeats. We had a lot of rain all day today. This is going to be a crazy weather week for Michigan.
Valerie-Fortunately we didn’t get an ice storm after all. Great job with your therapy work and long hike.
Diane Sue-Great job with the Senior Shape workouts. I’m sorry about the side effects of your medicines. I hope you find something that works without side effects.
No workout today. Yesterday I did CDorner Fast Basic Step #510, 31 minutes, heart rate 117/143, 176 calories. I finished with Senior Shape Standing Strength, Stretch, and Mobility, 23 minutes, 77 calories. Total time 54 minutes, 253 calories.
cathy any combination of rain on top of snow is ugly, if it happens, hopefully not a lot of volume.
i did a 10 min spin to warm up and stacked upper body and 2 therapy sessions. tomorrow we're taking the skis and going to see if we can get to skiable snow. after all the wind, rain and flooding we will be lucky getting up this road at all. these are forest service roads. most get no maintenance other than what the people who use them can do with basic tools. we can clear trees if they aren't too big but if there are big trees or washed out sections nothing will get done until maybe spring. so it's with a lot of optimism that we are even taking the skis along. we were up this road in November and it was clear with no snow but that was before all the storms.
