Pavel and Kettlebells

HI,

Does anyone know of any other good Pavel books or dvds, besides Enter the Kettlebell, worth owning?? I didn't realize there were so many different ones!!

Also, I was curious, for those of you who have been using kettlebells for a while, are you now able to lift a lot heavier dumbells also, as a result of the kb's? For example, has it helped your overhead presses?

Thank you!:D Linda

I don't have any of Pavel's books or DVDs, so can't speak to the first part of your question, but as for the second, YES. Even though KB exercises use different combinations of muscles in different ways, improvements in strength absolutely "translate" to traditional weight work. I've definitely noticed huge gains in upper-body strength, which has always been very difficult for me.

Linda - Power to the People is another very good Pavel book. It's a barbell program, not a KB program, but it's loaded with great info nonetheless.

Afreet- So glad to hear that it will help improve my upper body strength, so I can maybe get through some dumbbell plateaus, as well as strengthen my core. Thank you!! :)

Gayle- It's funny you say that because, I just finished ordering Power to the People like 10 min. ago!! Glad to hear it's a good one! Thank you!! :)
