Patric Goudeau's ABC2--OH MY GOOOOOOOSH!

LOL! This guy is out of his ever-loving mind! I had no idea what to expect from this workout & honestly thought it wouldn't be very challenging, but it is a freakin blast & kicked my butt! Took me 2 previews & I'm still working on one or two of his crazy turns, but it is crazy fun. That man has got to be THE MOST CREATIVE exericise instructor ever born! I have never seen anything like this in my life. Has anyone else? Or is this w/o his very own creation? Amazing for sure!

Laura, tell me more! I've been tempted just because it looks so crazy. Is it really good cardio? Low impact I would assume? Details, details!

Absolutely low impact! He has a total of four combos, plus the WU & CD. As is Patrick's way the WU itself is challenging & my HR was in the 160s by the time it was over.

The choreo is def. more challenging than I expected. The first two combos are probably do-able after one preview, but the second two had my eyes crossed & smoke coming out of my ears the first time I watched. It's actually one turn in the 4th combo that I'm still working on. I'm sure I'll get it someday........

Anyway, like I said, I've never seen anything like it in my life. If you're looking for some new, creative cardio with an instructor chock full of personality, this is a must!

I did order his other two stability ball DVDs. ABC2 is an hour, & I burned just over 500 cals. The other two are shorter--30-40 minutes--so I figure I'll be pairing them.

I love Patrick Goudeau! I totally agree that he's very creative. I have all his videos and I'll buy anything he puts out. Geez, I sound like a groupie.

I am totally a Goudeau groupie! That guy is a genius, no question about it. I actually met an AFAA instructor last w/e who knows him. She said they met on a plane on their way to a fitness convention in Europe & he was incredibly snooty. Then when they got where they were going & found they were the only 2 who spoke english, he opened up & they became very good friends.

But I cannot believe Patrick is snooty. I've had a few FB exchanges w/him & he was a sweetheart. Maybe he was just having a bad day.
