Pain Reliever Question

There is a chance that I might be pregnant (I will know by tomorrow probably). I never have headaches, but I do today. Is it okay to take an aspirin or maybe a Motrin? I am clueless about these things!

Tylenol is better for you when you're pregnant. I don't know about Motrin. I had headaches a lot when I was pregnant with both of my boys but dealt with it. I refused to take any medicine no matter what. I'm not a trustworthy kind of a person and I'm skeptical about a lot of things concerning medication/food/drinks while pregnant.

Thanks for the reply. I am so unaccustomed to headaches that if I think I HAVE to take something I'll use Tylenol. I just happened to have Motrin available, so that's why I asked about that.

i was told only tylenol by my doctor. She also said that the most common cause of headaches during pregnancy is dehydration. So make sure you are drinking at least 2 liters of water a day! The water thing helped me and I haven't had a headache since I started. I usually fill up two 1L water bottles in the morning. I drink one at work and then the other one when I get home. Good luck with your headaches and I hope the go away soon.

Thanks Imani! I drink SO much water usually, but I think I have slowed down some as of late. I might not even be pregnant, but we are trying, so this info will hopefully help one day.
