I just want to tell everyine that P90X is the ultimate best workout ever. I have always loved CATHE but was unable to attain my fitness goals. I have been doing P90X for about 3 weeks and cannot believe the changes in my body, flexibility, stamina and FLAT ABS at 41 years old. For all of you that want an affordable DVD set I urge you to order this workout. I am shocked by the results and how much I look forward to working out. The KENPO AND YOGA are the best~!

Amy:p

Good for you, Amy! P90X took me to the next level also and I love it! I've been using it for about a year & a half now. Yoga is still not a favorite of mine, but I've learned how beneficial it is. As Tony calls it, the fountain of youth! ;)

It will be interesting to see what the P90X people think of STS... will it be comparable in the results? And while I know there is no comparison to the energy output as compared to P90X, I have 10 minute trainers by Tony and have to admit that I am not in LOVE with him, and he can be a little "interesting" at times, but I do admit that even his 10 minute routines pack a punch! I will be weighing my options once STS is complete to see what is next... P90X or Kettlebells! :)

Glad to hear you have had such great results Amy & Jess!

Also just ordered P90X PLUS and One on One with Tony Horton--Volume 1, Disc Plyo Legs $19.95 and One on One with Tony Horton--Volume 1, Disc 5: 30-15 . These both look killer !

Good for you! I also love the X+ and watch out for Plyo Legs! It seems innocent enough. I didn't think it was so bad while I did the workout, but I sure had DOMS in my legs/ glutes for 2 days afterwards!!

Hi, Are you going to buy...

...Cathe's STS system?

It's a pricey investment for me though I know it would be worth it.

I haven't done P90X but that looks good too from what I remember way back when it first came out. I've been exercising regularly the past several months for the first time at the age of 41. I want to gain strength, muscle and loose my belly fat as much as possible. I've always been skinny with a stomach. I haven't seen any difference in my body yet except that I lost about five pounds because of changing eating habits too. Haven't been working hard enough.

I don't make a lot of money and am going back and forth on whether or not to buy STS. I know it's not necessary to buy these dvds to get in shape but its up my alley and I like to work out at home instead of the gym most of the time though I know it's best to mix things up. I better decide soon before the pre-sale ends! I like having something to follow and would love something like STS to start the New Year off with. My sister says I can work out on my own and NOT to buy STS. I can't believe I even told her how much it costs...normally I'd keep it to myself!

I will have to look up P90X to see what it goes for....I haven't seen it since the informercials...

Well, let's see what I end up doing...

P90X PLYO KILLS

P90X ....i REALLY CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT ........I AM CONSTANTLY SORE, BUT IN GOOD WAYS. WHO KNEW YOU COULD FEEL SO GOOD AND SORE AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE TAPPED INTO MUSCLES I NEVER KNEW I HAD AND I DO NOT HAVE TO DO 40 POUNDS SQUAT FOR SORE BUTT. AND THE PLYO KILLS !AMY

I'm in my second month of doing P90X (for the first time), and I'm also getting good results from it -- more muscle and more definition.

That being said, I'm still really looking forward to getting STS, and would stop P90X in a second if STS showed up on my doorstep tomorrow. While I like Tony's silly sense of humor, doing the same few workouts over and over again has gotten old really quickly. One of the great things about STS is the variety of weight workouts you'll get from it, not to mention Cathe's sweet, fun, and professional personality. STS is not too much more than P90X, and I think that it'll be an amazing product.

Camellia1900, can you maybe ask for some Cathe gift cards or money for the holidays so you can get STS? If you're good at sticking to a long rotation and don't already have some good weight workouts at home, then it sounds like it will help you with those areas you want to work on! :) Also, ChaLean Extreme is going to be coming out soon (you can do a search for it on these forums to get more info), and it sounds like it'll be cheaper than STS.

Personally, I don't enjoy P90X as much as Cathe, Jari Love, Amy Bento, the Firm Classics.

I like YogaX and StretchX, but the cardio in P90X leaves a lot to be desired.

I like Tony and his cast, but I just can't Bring It On - it is too repetitive and boring.

That said, I can't wait for STS!

thanks

It's so nice to have a forum like this at a time when I'm really looking forward to my body CHANGING... I long to look in the mirror and see a different body...toned with defined muscles...NOTICEABLY different...for my legs to have grown some (and I need upper inner thigh work bigtime)...and my stomach to have gone down at least half way! Again, I must work harder. :)

Because I just discovered Cathe, and she is my latest inspiration I will probably lean towards STS. I'm sure P90X and STS are both great in their own rights.

I do plan on telling more of my story later on...

Talk to everyone later.
