P90X with Cathe workouts?

I have been reading alot about P90X and have considered buying it, but its very expensive and I'm not sure I want to spend the $ right now. In the mean time, I love Cathe and have gotten great results with her. I have all her workouts and have researched on these forums P90x rotations, and was hoping someone could critique the rotation I've worked up- a faux P90X using Cathe. Any and all imput is more than appreciated:) I also posted this in the rotations forum, I wasn't sure which would be better!:)

P90X with Cathe
weeks 1-3
GS chest, back, abs
Imax of choice
GS shoulders, bi, tri,abs
yoga/stretch
(one each week) B&G overall legs, Leaner Leg, Legs and Glutes
KPC or CK
Off

Recovery weeks 4,8, 13
yoga
coremax min. 2 segments
KM bootcamp
stretch
Pilates
yoga
off

weeks 5-7
PS chest, back and abs
Imax of choice
PS shoulders, bi, tri, abs
yoga/ stretch
B&G overall legs, Leaner Legs, Legs & glutes
KPC or CK

weeks 9 & 11
same as weeks 1-3

weeks 10 & 12
same as weeks 5-7

Here are my questions-
For leg work should I be using workouts with light weights, like the ones I listed?

for upper body muscle strength should I do push/pull so that I do one set of excersises for chest and then one set for back, and continue that thru all the excersises? (does that make sense?- I hope:) )

I think what is most important is that you not lift "on beat" with Cathe, but lift at your own pace as heavy as possible and for either 8-12 reps or 10-15 depending on your goals. Also, you need to write down your weight and reps and go for continuous improvement.
 
Thanks Fannie- ironically, I do always go as heavy as I can, write down my weights in a journal, and always try to lift heavier (even only 1 or 2 pounds) the next week. I thought I was just being anal!!!:) Going at my own pace will be hard though, I get bored and my mind wanders, Thats why I love Cathe. I like her imput!
