For ladies with P90X . . . I can't do any of the pull-ups yet on P90X, but I have a door gym and I have a Bowflex which could be used in lieu of a band. Any suggestions which would seem the best way to built up to it?
Use the door jam with chair or band assist for the first half and use the bowflex for the second half of the workout. That's similar to what I do. I have a pull down machine though. I have heard people say they used the bowflex for all of it with great results. But it's fun to mix it up and you can get better at the pull-ups just by trying them.
Opps! I mis read your question. I guess you don't have a pull-up bar. Sorry. But it still would be fun to swith between the 2 options that you have. Or use the bowflex with chest/back and the bands with legs/back for something different.
