Good morning P90Xer's

Lorrie...I did S&H for the first 3 weeks and then switched to GS for weeks 5,6,7. I wasn't really expecting results I just wanted more legwork than P90X offers, and with my increased running mileage I didn't have time for Freestyle 6 days a week. I have noticed with heavier weights I have gotten a bit stronger in my legs. That ultimately helps with running for me. yes, I would recommend this to anyone doing P90X and wanting more legwork..:)

I'll be doing TLT's Strength in Movement and a 6 mile run..

Good morning Carole and all that follows!

This morning I was running a little slow - so I did CardioX instead of PlyoX. I might still try to get in another workout later today, maybe even PlyoX. I did get a good sweat from CardioX though.

Good Morning P90x'ers! Legs/Back with Ab/ripper today. I included some bench step ups and slow count lunges from GS legs between sets. I don't like the toe rock lunge, feels wrong on my knee! Feeling strong! Went for a short run Sunday - 2 miles to break in new run shoes! I am also adding cardio in the p.m. on eliptical when have time at the Y.

Carole - Sounds like a great w/out for you! Are you winning the battle of the weeds?

Anne - Glad to know you like Cardiox - haven't done that one yet. How did you do on Chest/Back when revisiting in Phase 2?

Lorrie - I would do an incline that you feel in the glute/hamstring - congrats on getting the extra cardio in. Sounds like you have your hands full!

Christine - It was fun to hear about your hike with Amy! WIsh you guys got a pic! Can't wait to meet Catheites too! How is rec. wk?

Amy G - Glad to hear about your fun hike with Christine! Hope your exams went well!

Good morning fellow P90X'ers!

I did Core Synergistics today. I LOVE that workout. I really enjoy it, and I'm thrilled I get to do it twice this week! I'll go for a treadmill run this afternoon. Too many allergens out there right now.

I was previewing Chest/shoulders/triceps. Hmm, that one will be a challenge. But, no matter what you think of Tony (I happen to enjoy him a lot) - when he starts doing those Plyo Push Ups you simply have to watch in awe. He's 5 years older than me in these videos... I love my DH, but after seeing that, I'd probably let Tony eat crackers in my bed... :+

Janet - I normally wear my sneakers tied losely, so the first time I did those toe rock lunges, I came right out of my shoes. Had to stop and go back after I retied the shoes. But I have to admit I like them (now that I make sure I tie my shoes tighter).

Hello X'ers. Looks like we're all working hard today. I did Plyometrics - it's still hard. It's so simple but it's so serious! Followed up with a 4-mile run. We have our first Biggest Loser meeting tonight - can't wait! There are 8 of us and the goal is to kick some serious booty throughout the summer! We have yet to work out all of the details, but it's moving! Yippee!
