Janet, great job on the pull-ups and chin-ups yesterday!!

Christine...I would agree it is most likley the running as to why your HR isn't up real high in other workouts.

Welcome Kathryn...I am doing a rather modified P90X rotation too. I have not tried a Mindy workout, but I have been enjoying the TLT's! Wow..2 hours of hand mowing...that would definitely make C & B tough. I dread that one too and will be doing it monday!

Lorrie...I didn't know deer ate tulips? The gophers get ours so I don't plant them anymore! I also like Back & Biceps but S&A is till my fav!! I of course think ETL is a good choice...:)

Hey you fabulous P90X ladies!

I did a 5 mile run this morning. It's supposed to be stretch day - probably not going to happen. Maybe Sunday. I have a uniform fitting with my DD17 for cheer. So, that's what I'll be doing tonight. Fun - why do they need new uniforms EVERY year? That's ridiculous!

Carole - Thanks. I'll test the theory on Sunday - I'm doing a Cathe only workout. I miss step! :)

Yesterday was yoga day (I'm using the basic P90X "Classics" template, and filling in other workouts here and there). I did "Magically Hips." Just what I needed!

Today is lower body day, but I'm not doing a P90X lower body workout. Haven't yet figured out if I'll do Mindy's new "All About Legs" or a Firm BSS4 workout or a Cathe (probably PLB if I do) or maybe PLB and one segment from Mindy? THAT sounds like the ticket!
 
Hello X'ers. Today I am feeling (as Tony Says) like "toasty toast!" For some reason I'm fried. I was on for Yoga X, but couldn't handle an hour and a half of it, so resorted to Bryan Kest's power I. (At least it's some yoga right? ;-) ) Then it was supposed to be a running day for me (Christine and Carole I'll run vicariously through you both if you don't mind) - but I did a 5-mile incline walk instead. Got my incline up in the 10-15% range, but I feel like I cheated. Ah well, perhaps I'll sleep early tonight before I tackle Legs and Back tomorrow.

Lorrie - we all sub a different Power Yoga tape for Yoga X from time to time. I have "Yoga for Athletes" by Rodney Yee, and he has little 10 minute (or less) Mini-workouts for various sports. I've been using those as stretching (or partial stretching). I tell ya, doing yoga every day is really starting to make a difference.
 
Happy Thursday to you AWESOME P90X'ers! Today was a rest day for me, and my body said yeahhhh! Tomorrow will begin my 1st "recovery week". Looking forward to that, but will miss the prev. w/outs! Sounds like everyone had great w/outs today!

Carole - Did you do a pilates tape? I have MTV pilates mix, but haven't done it yet.

Christine - Great run! So, you're adding in yoga every day too? Wow - you are a w/out machine!

Kathryn - PLB and a Mindy segment sounds great! Mixing Cathe w/P90x sounds like a great plan when I finish this rotation!

Lorrie - I know what you mean about toast! I felt like that today. My eating wasnt good either. Tom. is another day. Legs/back is a good one! Don't feel like cheating - you did workout!!!

Anne - Hope you had a good w/out! Did you feel those DOMS from S/A?

Janet I have 4 Windsor Pilates DVD's. I got them thru Collage Video. 2 are about 25 min and the 2 others are more like 45 min and one uses a stability ball. I had not done Pilates til I got these...I like it...:)
