P90X Check-in Thurs May 4

Sorry I missed the check-in yesterday!

I did GS Back & Biceps and a 4 mile run

Janet...thanks for asking...luckily most of my trail tripping is only temp pain! I felt so much better after my adjustment Monday..good job on the new shoes!!

Christine...sounds like you had fun at the Gym!! I will admit, I don't like those crouching cohen curls...I usually sub something...Running can tire you out along with the heavy weights, so rest if you need to. You still have plenty of time before the half...

I'll be doing Pilates instead of YogaX, a 5 mile run and PLB standing legwork.

Good morning. I'm going for a short run today - probably no more than 3 miles. Just to keep the body used to running. LOL. I'll then do Bryan Kest's Power Yoga - the energize one. I'll take Saturday off as I'm hiking with Amy on Sunday. :) I just need a few more hours in the day and another day to the week is all - that would do wonders for me! :)

Carole - you're right - it does take getting used to. I am not as much of my normally bounce off the walls self this week, and my allergies are also bugging me as well, but I'm okay. Next week is a recovery week for me, so we'll see how that goes. :)

I'm working from home today, so I have more flexibility. Which is so nice. Enjoy your days everyone!
 
Today was YogaX-I did get up early this morning and get it all in-what a looonngg workout!!!
It was alright...I am not a huge yoga fan so we will see.

Hi all!! I've been such a slacker with P90X lately... actually, this whole first month!!! Bummer. I'm planning to do Kenpo and maybe Core Synergistics today... we'll see how studying for my exam tomorrow night goes... :p You can guess what I'd rather be doing!!! :7

Hey all!

Today was supposed to be X Stretch - so I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. It is hard on these recovery weeks to not do too much. I am in the habit of the 2 workouts a day - but only a few more days and I will be on my 9th week and ready to tackle the last 30 days with the doubles. I just have to figure out which day I want to add the 4th extra cardio session.

Good evening! Restday for me. Will do C/B tomorrow and add in some real pull/ups at the Y- can't wait to see how much weight assist I need. I'll let you guys know. I plan to run during my 2nd phase. Next wk is recovery. Should be interesting trying new w/outs.

Carole - Glad to hear you're not hurting. I miss GS Back/Bic! I think I need a Cathe fix!

Christine - Sounds like we'll both be in a rec. wk next wk. It'll give you some time to tackle those allergies! Which is your fav. Bryan Krest Yoga?

Kathy - Yogax is longggg. I liked it better 2nd time.

Anne - Are you resting at all? Your body is used to 2 w/outs each day, then I am sure you are making great strides!

Hope everyone has agreat night resting and eats cleaner than me! I did NOT eat clean today. BOOOH! Bday cake and TacoBell for dinner. Oh my....Maybe it was the extra rest! (yeahright) I'll get back on track tomorrow...

Nah, I'm not the MOST hated woman... }( I let them put their feet on the ground if they needed to... and most of them didn't!!! We only did a few, but I was up there with my feet up the whole time and I think shamed a few into keeping their feet up, LOL. }( }( }(

I am SO GLAD I got P90X as soon as I passed my ACE exam... I knew there would be moves and pointers in there that I could share!!! :p

My boss forwarded me an email from a bootcamper this afternoon, in which he refers to my workouts as "fierce". I LOVE THAT!!!!! :7 :7 :7 I couldn't be doing *any* of this without everyone here and your wisdom and support- thank you so much!!!!
 
Well, I actually mis-read my schedule; I was only supposed to do X Stretch today! But since I missed Kenpo yesterday I threw in the kicking and punching premix from KPC before the stretch. But now I'm done for the evening, and tomorrow will be runs and yoga X (or whatever yoga I sub for that, LOL). Yay!
