Hey all! Did Kenpo X today. Did about 5 minutes of the yoga warm up, then decided it was time to move. LOL. I did follow it with Rhythmic Step - I miss a good step workout. I burned calories and had a good time.

By the way, Amy, you mentioned that your legs were still sore? Well, mine are too. There was a point in Kenpo X that I thought I would never finish, but I fought through. RS was just a joy. It's really one of my favorite workouts. After Plyo X though, I was bouncing right along on the step!

Enjoy your day everyone!

Sounds like you got in a great workout Christine...RS is quite fun. I'll say I do miss stepping when I am training for long runs...:(

I will do some Kickboxing today and I am trying out TLT's BBBB, hope my glutes survive...:)

Good Saturday Ladies! I just got up from my nap and feel woozy!!After PlyoX, which I did without the dvd, and 3 hours in the pool, I was whipped! Tomorrow will be shoulders/arms and ab ripper! I am excited about shoulders/arms, as I have heard it is fun, and I love to work my shoulders like Carole!

Christine, Kenpo x & RS? Wow! I am impressed! I hope your legs are working out the DOMS. I am excited to see what Legs & Back brings. With all your extra workout time, you could start another P90x rotation after you finish at your current job!

Carole, hope your kickboxing went well, as well as BBBB. Do you like the TLT workouts? I am on the fence, but have only done them twice. I have EFM & FYC. I really did not feel a workout from them. I have heard they get harder as you master them.

Amy G.- congratulations on finishing your first week! Sounds like you are one week ahead of me. I am sure the good soreness is well earned! Watch out for that left shoulder, though. As you know, always listen to your body. I had a shoulder thing once, and had to really rest for a month or so. I was teaching water aerobics at the time, and really had to modify. Just be careful! You must feel great about giving your platelet donation, and I am sure it took alot out of your body.

Krystal - How did your Chest/back/cardio workout go?

Anne - How did Kenpo X go? Congrats on week 6!

Alicia - Thank you for the postives on S &A - it is on the agenda tomorrow! How did legs/back/cardio go?

Lorrie - Hope the parade and kickboxing went well!

How many of you Px'ers add a protein powder to your daily intake? Just curious, as I am not sure I am getting the amt of protein they suggest. Good luck to you all on those military push ups! ( and the diamond pushups! and the decline pushups! ) Happy x'ing!

Thanks Janet! My shoulder has been having issues for at least a year. Sometimes I just lighten up the weights for a few weeks. I'm taking it slow... but I do want to keep my pushups even!! LOL

Did I mention that I didn't do Plyo X today?? I did an Imax premix (Imax 2, intervals 6-10) and am going for a 4 mile run in a few hours. I really wanted to do an interval workout, and knew that the run right after Plyo X would not feel great for me.

I'm enjoying P90X, but after one week, I am wondering if those results will actually ever appear... *deep breath, patience, deep breath*... ;)

I think I'd be napping too Janet!! I do like the TLT workouts. I liked BBBB alot and I will see if I am sore tomorrow. TLT's are functional fitness and as a runner I think this is important. Of course anyone can benefit from working their complete core..I got all 4 but have not done EFM or FYC yet. SIM I really liked. I might try one of those Tues afternoon as I have some time. I do hope you enjoy Shoulders and Arms...:)

Amy..give it time...I bet the results will come..:)

Hi ladies...hope you're all having a good weekend! Today I did plyo and ab ripper. I love plyo X, I really worked up a good sweat.

Janet-sounds like you got a great workout in today too; shoulders and arms is awesome. Chest/Back is pretty challenging...all those push ups really get you. Especially the military, diamond, and under the fence:eek: My sholders and arms get a little sore as well. Legs and back was pretty easy for me to do so I was not impressed...then the DOMS hit me the next day! (and the next, and the next...)

I drink a protein shake almost everday as a snack or after a weight workout.

Has anybody done the core workout yet? I have yet to do it or yoga. My husband did the yoga workout looking for a stretch, and he said he was sweating after about fifteen minutes! Boy, what a week! My nine month old is teething REALLY bad. He has been a bear for the last week, and it looks like there's no end in sight. Maybe all of the rest of his teeth are coming in and we will be done with teething
;-) OK, somebody wake me up, I'm dreaming.

Have a good night everybody!

Krystal
