Happy Hump day Everyone...

I'm previewing Back and Biceps right now. Never have before. My foot is really bothering me - kind of like a cramp, but it hurts worse when I step on it. I think I'm going to skip working out all together this morning - the B&B is pretty intense and requires the feet a lot. I'll just push everything out by a day. Not ideal, but hey - what can you do? I'd rather not really hurt it - I'm hoping it will work itself out today.

You will like B&B Christine...that is weird about your foot? I think taking the day off might be a good idea...it is probably just a tweak (as I call them) and will be gone tomoroow. Maybe some sports creme or ice might aleve the pain a bit, but rest would be good...:)

I get to do my fav. S&A!!! I do still have some DOMS from C&B monday...I will also do abs and a 5 mile run..

Have a great day...:)

Funny - I call them "twinges". I do think it will work itself out in a day or two, though. No biggie. Just annoying. I'm watching B&B and I soo want to try it. I think I'm going to get my lazy butt off the big comfy chair and start. If it hurts too bad I'll stop...

Love that feeling of DOMS, Carole! Have fun on your run...

I do agree "annoying". Just be careful working out and listen to your body. I like the DOMS too....we must be a bit crazy...}( :+

Hey X'ers! Missed checking in...I was visiting my mom for Mother's Day.
I have missed some w/outs this rec. week, but am ready to jump back in to Phase 2 on Friday. I did Core Syn. & it was "okay". Not sure I love this one. Core work is not my fav., so I'll wait to decide. Glad to see you all have been having good w/outs!

Christine - Bummer on the foot! Let us know when your twinge is GONE!!
How do you like Phase 2?

Carole - Fun to do fav w/outs, isn't it? And I too love DOMS...we just like to feel the burn!

Lorrie - I love Plyox! I haven't tried CC yet, but glad you like it!

Alicia - I lose wt. when I add extra cardio, even if it is 20 min. on the eliptical. It really makes a diff. I too need to lose 10, which is one goal, along with definition. I lose 1-2 lbs/week when I add extra cardio and eat clean.

Kathryn - Good luck with your chinup challenge. Sounds like you are on track! Which Mindy w/outs do you really like?..sounds like you sub
her alot.

Happy Xing and Eat Clean!

Yesterday was plyo/interval day (the spot that "Plyo X" takes on the Classics rotation). I did Kelley Coffey-Meyers' "Get Ready, Step, Go." It was my first time at it, and I think I got it about 85% right. I really like the instructor. Like the athletic feel and non-dancy choreo. Don't like some impact moves in the warm-up, and two moves where they take more space than I have (it's always a bad sign when the camera has to move to follow them!). Overall, I'd give it an "A."

Well, I HAD to do Back and Biceps and Carole was right - I really enjoyed this one! I love back work - more than chest work, actually. And this had some great exercises in it. I followed it with Amy Bento's Abs - the first segment. Some interesting standing work with weights that I can still feel. I liked the workout - I don't know if I'll use it as often as Ab Ripper or Cathe's CoreMax, but it's well done.

Janet - I'm enjoying phase 2 very much. I will sub GS Legs for Legs and Back this phase (I'll add some pull ups in there as well), just to give my legs something different to do. But the weight work is just as fun in a different way.

Kathryn - I'm going to look into that workout - I would like more step. I enjoy step.

Hey, Janet!
I have quite a few Mindy workouts, but I haven't used them a lot so I don't have many favorites I can recommend from experience with them(I've just recently gotten into interval work and more impact). I got three of her newest workouts and have been using two of them("All About Abs" and "All About Legs") as add-ons to other workouts. I really enjoy them. I've only tried one section of "All About Legs" (the stability ball section, after the first section of PLB) and thought it was really effective for hitting the glutes.

Hello ladies. Christine - hope the foot gets to feeling better. I hate little twinges and tweaks that throw you off your game. How do you like the Amy Bento w/o's? Back and Biceps is my fav P90X - love that burn!

Ladies I am so with you on the DOMS!! I love em! In fact - don't know if you saw my post about the gift of DOMS I gave my inactive relatives for mother's day - HA! I made them do some yoga blown palm stretches and they really felt it the next day - I'm so evil! }(

Today I did Shoulders and Arms, ab ripper X and a 5-mile incline walk / run. This was my first time using CC V-6 with Candace. SHe was different from Sean, and will take some getting used to, but what an awesome workout!

Enjoy it!

Lorrie
