i have noticed after just a few workouts that tony's upper body is more effective than cathe.i now have all upper body except back and legs, plyometrics, yogax and core.should i do p90x(plus cathe cardio) and cathe every other week or month or maybe do like cathe's bootcamp rotation that has a mixture of different workouts?

I'm not sure what you are asking: is it alternating Cathe workouts with P90X workouts vs. incorporating both during a week?

I'll go with the latter!
You could combine 'the best of both worlds" and do a rotation that uses the P90X upper body workouts (and eventually Plyo X and Core Synergistics) and Cathe lower body workouts and cardio.

Something like this (based on P90X "Classics" rotation):
Day 1: Chest/ Back (P90X)
Day 2: An Imax (or Plyo X)
Day 3: Shoulders and arms
Day 4: Cathe kickboxing
Day 5: yoga X
Day 6: Cathe leg workout
Day 7: rest/stretch

great idea.I'll call this my bootcamp cathe/p9ox rotation.
first week p90x
2nd cathe
3rd p90x
4th cathe

Cathe's kickboxing is much more intense than Tony's. I like Tony's, but it doesn't get my heartrate up like Cathe's does.

And what about legs? I haven't done it but it doesn't look like Tony uses a lot of weighted leg work. For people who are afraid of leg muscle bulking up and who prefer something akin to freestyling (oh Carole, where are you?) would Tony be better?

Tony's leg workout has weighted and nonweighted work. When he uses weights, he doesn't use heavy weights. There's lots of variety in this workout. I think this is a good workout for someone who is worried about bulking.
