Hi there-
I'm trying a new rotation for the next 3-4 weeks, and I think its going to be a good one!!!
I'm planning on doing a one bodypart/day workout using P90x. I did a chest workout today and it was killer!!
Basically I took the P90X chest/back workout and did all of the pushups from that workout. Then when Tony works the back, I would do various bench presses and flies both on flat and incline using weights that were as heavy as I could muster, usually 8-10 reps.
Let me tell you, I was fried after I was done. This was a GREAT workout.
It looks like I'll be able to figure out how to do these w/ each bodypart using all of the workouts, probably some mixing and matching from different DVD's for some of the bodyparts. I'm excited, this might be just what I need to mix up my routine a little bit.
I'll probably only do this for Upper body, and will probably stick to a Cathe workout for lower, since I'm not a big fan of the P90x leg workout.
Not sure how I'll get my cardio in either. Might have to ease up a bit and/or do it at a different time.
Anybody else every done this? If so, what was your experience?
Take care, Lynn M.
