Hey, girls
Laura :: Whoa, 35# biceps curls!! Whatta woman!…Ya know, I really hate doing biceps with the barbell for some reason…it feels harder to me…So are you down three all week? Sending calming vibes to the asylum today.
Diana :: Wow ~ two camps in one day? Jerod’s really working hard this week!…Thanks for the tip on Ross…I didn’t realize they carried workout DVDs…that’s worth a look…BTW, I appreciated your response over on the when-did-you-get-hitched thread.
Wendy :: enjoy today’s rescheduled run & yoga...Talked to my cousin y'day...he was talking about running the Ben Franklin Bridge in Nov...it used to be a 5K (back in the day when I used to run it, and THAT was tough)...now it's a 10K. Thought I'd mention it to you since I know you were looking for 10Ks. Not sure of the date.
Angie :: glad to hear your shoulder’s feeling a little better…a cautious approach sounds like a wise move…I’m not a fan of YogaX either…too long, too many sun salutations in the beginning…don’t get me wrong – it’s tough but I find it boring…You might like 10 Minutes Solutions Yoga…break it up in segments as add-ons or do the whole thing for a 50-minute practice…however, the best choice, IMO, is to take a series (as in, a good half-dozen) of classes. I think it's very helpful for beginners to be able to get feedback from the instructor…after that, you can always continue your practice at home, and you’ll have a better feel for your form than if you were learning straight from the DVD. Just my thoughts.
I was around yesterday but did not get to post…I had a chiro appointment in the morning, blew off my errands, came home and napped, and then woke up with a migraine. A few hours later, I thought I felt OK enough to be on the computer, but while I posted on another thread, the blurred vision returned and the headache came back full force. So, I logged off and spent some time praying to the porcelain gods. I was supposed to do yoga, but naturally, that didn’t happen. So, I’m hoping to make that up sometime this week. Today’ll be GS Legs Timesaver + a run.
Have a GREAT day!
