<--had to make emergency run to CT scan at 0300 this morning
<--know that patient's family is stressed and not thinking straight, but it still hurts to be fired when you know you are doing a good job
<--ended up with a squirrely old dementia lady that kept hanging her legs off the bed and trying to climb out all night
<--she would then scream her head off when <--placed her legs back in bed
<--it's not been another good weekend
<--wants to go to the fair with Robin......please?????
<--promises to be good at the fair!!!!
<--please????;-)

<--waves at everyone else and hopes that they have a good day
<--is off to SandLand!!!

<--'ve been cussed out by quite a few in <--33 years of teaching
<--have developed thick skin
<--know that it's really frustrating though. You do your best, but sometimes it isn't enough
<--thinks your new patient sounds like <--dad when he was in the hospital before he passed...he would get out of bed (even though they tried to tie him down) and would announce "where'a my wife? I want to go home. He was 89.
<--really respects people in the medical profession and all they do
 
<--says good morn...uh...afternoon ladies
<--wishes Robin lots of fun and unclean eating at the fair
<--says to Amy: can you imagine how POed that family must be at that patient for not wearing a helmet?? I'll be they've got so much anger they're displacing it on everyone anywhere they can, whether they deserve it or not. Fortunately, your co-workers know you well enough to know that you are blameless. :D
<--feels sorry for that family, but doesn't think Amy should let them get to her
<--wishes Amy a good, well-deserved sleep
<--is glad that Meg is feeling a little better, and is sending more healing vibes so she can feel a lot better
<--agrees wholeheartedly with elaine about people in the medical profession
<--adored each and every one of Dad's nurses when Dad was in the hospital that last week of his life

<-- is proud of DH since he ran the whole thing without walking and he doesn't run and hadn't trained one minute for this one, LOL
<-- was incredibly frustrated with the complete lack of organization of the run
<-- is also a leetle bothered that breast cancer has soooo much awareness and $$$ going for it and diabetes doesn't get nothin'
<-- told DH we don't have a ribbon or a color but every single thing <-- has put in her mouth for the past 18.5 years <-- has had to pay attention to and DH doesn't know one person who has had breast cancer and <-- has known 3 but we know thousands of diabetics
<-- ran pretty fast, LOL, since <-- was pissy
<-- was frustrated because DH and <-- lined up per mile time like they do at some runs and there were signs but NO ONE SAID TO DO THAT and there was NO "race etiquette" (sp) instructions
<-- says despite being <100 yards away from the start, there were people *much* heavier and *much* less in shape at the start line and so they were all in front of <-- so it took forever and random people would poop out and start walking but completely ignore that there were people directly behind them
<-- also lost DH before we crossed the start line because he said he'd find <-- and then he got stuck and never said "excuse me please move your dog" or "excuse me please move your stroller" etc
<-- found him at about the halfway point and we ran back together (<-- ran a little extra so he could do the entire 5k) and we finished at 33:27 but we don't know when we crossed the starting line, LOL
<-- is done with race for the cures for a good long while
<-- thought it was incredibly poorly planned, but it worked for a lot of women who feel that a 5k is a long way (since they were still walking a little past the halfway point AN HOUR later when DH and <-- were at our car!)
<-- also doesn't like the shirt x(
<-- DID get a free headband!!!!!
<-- is trying to focus on the free headband and the sound of DH's huffs and puffs }(

<-- also thought it was terrible planning that you had to wait in line by the port o potties to get your t-shirt when they had an entire open space we could have been instead

<-- probably needed to run that fast since <--'s blood pressure was so high by the time we got to the start!! LOL
