Yesterday I did the first part of PLB (the standing part) and then did the floorwork from GS Legs. What a great workout! My hamstrings are on fire today! I hope I recover by tomorrow because I have a 10K to run in the morning!
The first time I did GS Legs I was sore for three days, and yes it was the worst in the hamstrings. Those deadlifts on the step did me in. Now that I've done GS Legs a few times the resulting DOMS are not near as bad. Good workout though.
I have a lot of trouble with those deadlifts. I am ok with the ones on the floor where you are adding height with your weights, but I feel like I am doing the ones on the step all wrong. Are your legs stiff or bent for these?
