Other videos you guys work out to

I'm interested in knowing what other videos you guys work out to besides Cathe. I looove her tough videos and prefer intermediate type workouts. I ordered a few Amy Bento's (Hi/Low Circuit; Bootcamp; Abs/Stretch and one other). I plan on asking for P90X for Christmas. P90 appears to be what Cathe is accomplishing with STS.

Your suggestions would be really appreciated.

Some other advanced videos that I do from time to time (not in order of preference):

Gin Miller
Patrick Goudeau
Barry's Bootcamp (5-day Academy)
Mindy Mylrea
The FIrm (original series)
Creative Instructors Aerobics (CIA)
Rob Glick
Tracey Staehle
Jari Love
Gilad
Kimberly SPreen
Pam Cosmi
Kelly COffey-Meyer
Christi Taylor
Madeline Dolente
Angie Miller (got her first weight video)
Keli ROberts
Minna Lessig
Trish Muse (great ab workouts)
Fit Prime series

These are some that I do from time to time. I am not particularly recommending any one, but many are intermediate to advanced.

Good Luck!!

I was gonna start a new thread but figured I should just post it here...I've got quite a few dvd's Im looking to get rid of...not only are they taking up space but I just couldn't get into them. I could just sell them on ebay or something but thought I would pass them on to any of my fellow cathe fans first if they were interested. And yes they are all in good condition...used once (no charge...just email me your address and which one you'd like and I'll gladly send it your way)

Janis Saffell's Strike Zone (the kickboxing section is to short for my tastes)

Jeanette Jenkins....Cardio Sculpt, Kickboxing Bootcamp, and Abs Blast (i prefer Cathe's circuits and abs blast is ok but I never really use it)

Taebo II Get Ripped Series (billy blanks goes to fast for me...and my form suffers because of it)

Ultimate Taebo

Jillian Michaels The Biggest Loser 5 disks (too short so never really bothered)

Tamilee Web's I Want That Body (case got damaged when shipped so it's in a cd case)

Getting Fit In Jerusalem (I love Gilad but this one just has clips from different locations and my heart rate doesnt stay up with all the pauses they do in between clips)

Cathe's The Terminator (I ended up buying the series so I dont use this one anymore)

BTW which CIA workouts would you guys recommend? Looking to expand my collection...

I don't think I'd say Cathe is emulating P90 with STS. It's far too advanced for P90. Definitely right up there with P90X.

I've recently added Amy Bento to my faves, and I like Tracey Staehle and Gin Miller. Also, the Powerstrike workouts for kickboxing and Kim Spreen. I also have P90X and really like the program.

AMY BENTO IS ALSO A FAVORITE OF MINE. GIN MILLER HAS SOME GOOD TOUGHER ONES OUT THERE. I HAVE THE P90X SERIES & COMPLETED THAT ABOUT A YEAR AGO, I DID MISS CATHE WHILE I WENT THROUGH THAT PROGRAM.

P90X and P90X+ are my other favorites. I also have Turbo Jam (fun), Hip Hop Abs (ok), 10 min Trainers (not bad for 10 min workouts, love the 10 min abs), P90, P90Masters, Billy's Taebo & Boot Camp (bought before I discovered Cathe!). I'd like to try out some of Amy Bento's but haven't yet. HTH!

I love my Cathe workouts but the dread factor was getting a little high for me for a while. I think I was getting burnt out. So I started a rotation with Amy Bento's Slow-Mo and some of her cardio workouts. I actually look forward to working out again. It has been a nice break for me and I think I will be ready for another change by the time I get STS.

I like Janis Saffell.. she doesn't do weights but I like kickboxing...she has a KICK IT that's real fun and the strike zone is good too... but I like lower impact.. or at least SHORTER cardio's. The KICK IT is pretty intense, but it's short, 20-25 mins maybe? I like that im lazy :)
You know that's it?
All I have other than those two or three is CATHE!
I did buy some other ones.. JilliN Michaels, The Jab w/ Tracey Mallett, Kathy Smith and 10 Mintue Solutiuons with Keli Roberts.. I couldn't even get through the first viewing of them they were so embarassing.. except the Keli roberts one (I had to watch that one all the way through I was trying to confirm my suspicion that she was really a 'he")

Somebody emailed me concerning The Terminator....I tried to reply but it said that your email address was not vaild (weird) Anyway nobody has requested that one yet so it's yours...since I can't get in touch with you through email maybe you could email me back with your address and I'll have it in the mail by Friday....hope you enjoy it

I wanted the terminator video. I don't know what happened, I'm pretty new at this whole posting stuff. I will double check my profile and fix it today. Sorry and THANK YOU!

Although I'm doing mostly all Cathe right now, other favorites are Michelle Dozois' most recent circuit and cardio workouts, Michael Olajide's Killer Abs & Back, and I like a few of Minna Lessings workouts for lighter days. And when the weather is nice(as it has been lately), I just have to take it outside with a long walk/run.

I love all of Amy Bento's workouts especially the Challenge Series (ASC II, HiLo Dome Challenge, SloMo), HiLow Knockout (totally awesome music, choregoraphy, intensity, nice weighted ab section), and In the Ring. I use all my Amy's though. She's one of my favorite instructors. I like Kelly Coffey Meyer, the TLT's, branching out and receiving a Christie Taylor in a trade, a couple of Tracey Staehle's (having a hard time finding that she consitently delivers but I kept and enjoy HISM and her first core workout), Ellen Barrett, some CIA's, some Jari Love, and a few other random instructor/workouts. Right now my favorite and must preorder instructor is Amy Bento. I have found the variety is helpful and keeps me motivated. I still love my Cathe's too!

The thing with STS is that more equipment is recommended. I got away from The Firm because they changedtheir step designs, then made DVD's around each particular step. I don't want more equipment. With STS, I feel like I'll be modifying a lot. Who knows, I may change my mind next week
:) MY prerogative right!

Amy Bento, Kelly Coffey Meyer. Tracey Staehle's upcoming videos sound great.
