Other Instructors

I love Cathe and wish to experiment with others similar in workout toughness and results. I've tried Gin Miller. Who else do you recommend and which DVD titles for weight training and cardion?

Please write me direct [email protected].
I don't always check here.:)

Do you have Gin MIller's "Intense Moves"? It's a great interval step workout (now available on DVD).

Mindy Mylrea has tough, athletic workouts. She's rather goofy, and a mediocre cuer at times, but tough.

For weight training, P90X from Beach Body has what I consider the best upper body weight training on video. The entire system (12 or 13? workouts) works together really well in the rotation they have devised. There have been lots of posts about it on this forum that you can do a search for.

I have to completely agree with that! It is INTENSE! It was one of my first and still one of my faves!

For kickboxing, I really like Janis Saffell. She isn't as intense as Cathe, so I can add weights for punches. I also really like Kelli Robert's Kickbutt Combat. They are pretty fun and demonstrate good form.

for step, I really like Christi Taylor. She is very choreographed and she has a very fun personality!

As far as strength, I either do Cathe or I do it on my own, so I can't help you there.

HTH! :)

Actually, I was amazed at how challenging Charlen Prickett is.
She is a 56 year old lady, and her "Crazy for Step" DVD is really hard. It is a 60mn step routine on a 8 inch step or more, and gets you sweating a lot. I used to be extremely loyal to CAthe, but this particular workout is one worth trying!!!:)

I would recommend Patrick Goudeau especially his new dvd Body Design. The dvd is a circuit & he uses quite a bit of new innovative moves that you might find interesting. All you need is a step & a bodybar. Go check him out at collagevideo.com. HTH, Kathy:D
