I don't understand what these two have to do with each other. If Cathe is 'taking heat,' then surely it's when people are discussing her workouts?
I see it two ways: some people go over-the-top in criticism, but some of those criticisms (like the crappy chaptering on some of the HC series workouts) are deserved, and they are things you can't really complain much about them on this forum without risking getting at worst flamed or at best being told that your opinion is without foundation, so people go elsewhere to do so.
That being said, I've very rarely seen people attack Cathe herself (and those attacks are usually without foundation); the 'attacks" (which maybe are valid criticisms, but are seen as attacks by 'fans') are about things like customer service, the preordering process, etc. and are most often from people who use Cathe's workouts a lot and have some frustations about certain things (maybe even small things, that they wouldn't notice if they didn't use her workouts so much).
But, you know the old saying "any publicity is good publicity!"
I personally hate to see 'forum vs. forum' kinds of threads, and think that what goes on on one site should remain there.
I've seen far too many Cathe.com vs VF 'spats' develop (with members of one site 'tattling' on what they saw on the other site, then other posters insulting the posters from the first site, and on and on) and I find it quite annoying, as I belong to both forums and appreciate them both.
