OT: food for meeting

This is way off topic, but I'm hoping to get some ideas from some of you creative people. :)

I have a board meeting for about 25 people in a few weeks. It's over the supper hour so we will provide something for them to eat. There is at least one vegetarian in the group, too. I'm sick of ordering pizza, but can't think of anything else that simple and easy.

Anybody have any ideas? I was thinking maybe a few party subs and get some bags of chips.

Thanks,
Marcia.

What about sandwich trays and some veggies and dip.. a fruit tray? Those are the things I order when I do meetings.

I think the subs sound great. Maybe a veggie plate, just in case some "healthy people" don't want chips?

Is there a bagel shop in your town? We have a great bagel place that does sandwich trays and just trays of quartered bagels with different spreads. I also think the sub idea is good. You can order a fruit and veggie tray from the grocery store.

I'm on a committee that sometimes has working lunches. We ususally get one of the large party subs from Subway and it works out pretty well. We usually get it with different "sections", so you could order a veggie section for the vegetarians in your group.

What about fajitas?

Vegetarians can load up on onions, peppers and beans and most everyone likes them.

The only draw back would be that it's a little harder to work while eating fajitas than a slice of pizza or sandwich.
