Original When a Stranger Calls

Pretty darn scarry...especially the last scene...I totally screamed and jumped off the couch even though I had figured out what was coming!

When I was looking at the reviews for the recent release I realized there was an original that got rave reviews from Netflix and put it at the top of my cue immediately.

I went and seen this movie last weekend(the newer one that is) i didnt like the way it ended but over all it wasnt too bad.

LoL! Angela, I remember being very scared when I was a kid & we saw this movie, but I can't remember how it ended. Don't tell me. I think I may just put this on my Netflix too.

I've seen both, the original is better in my opinion.

I haven't seen the new one but ended up renting the original b/c of the poor reviews of the new one and the rave reviews for the original.

I haven't seen it, but I thought I'd share a comment that my sister (mother of 3 under 4) made when she saw the previews, "Oh great! Now I'll NEVER be able to get a sitter!"

I sw it in the theatre and the scene in the bedroom was so horriying even though I am old and don't remember it too too clearly, I remember the terror of it.

I haven't seen the new one, but the advertisements give away the twist! I find that happens pretty often with movies these days. In the original, you didn't know where the stranger was calling from until it was revealed. In the ads for the new one, it's revealed right off the bat!

I think the movie "The Island" would have been more interesting as well if the ads didn't reveal the twist. I LIKE suspense and being surprised.
