Ordering From Beach Body

Miss Lee

Cathlete
I went to order the P90 Masters series but I removed it from my shopping cart because I don't want my credit card billed in 3 monthly installments. It irritates me that Beach Body doesn't give you an option to pay the full amount up front. Is there a way to pay the entire amount in one lump sum? I've looked all over the website and I don't see it as an option. TIA for your help:)

I ordered Yoga Booty Ballet (don't make fun of me) a couple of years ago from them, and I think I just paid one lump sum instead of the two installments. I ordered over the phone, though. Maybe you should just order by phone.

Hi Michele - that company left me with a bad experience all the way around. When I ordered I did so by phone and told them I preferred one lump sum payment. The Indian gentleman who had a very difficult time with the English language repeated what I said about 4 times, but it was rather clear to me that he did not understand the concept.

After I received my P90X, I called back to verify that they set it up for one payment - they did not. So I repeated about 4 more times to a different Indian gentleman who had a very difficult time with the English language what I wanted. He repeated what I said and told me it would be changed to reflect my wishes. Next thing I knew - my CC statement came with 1/3 of the sum charged. From the very beginning I had a hard time with BB and it never got any better for me. I did a complete 90-day rotation and at the end thought it was ok - but nothing earth shattering (that's blasphemous to say I know). In the end I sold my P90X to offset the purchase of my Fluidity package. Good luck with your experience.

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles ordering directly from Beachbody. If you want, you can order from their sister company, Million Dollar Body and pay for your entire order at once. I am an MDB independent coach - you can reach me at

I'll be happy to answer any questions:)

Or you can call and request a one time deal. I hate that monthly thing, and hate BB but love their stuff....

I'm poor so I love the option of paying in three installments. ;)

However, like you said, I did not see an option to pay in full and if I had wanted to, that would've annoyed me.

Stephanie - that made me laugh today when you said not to make fun of you! You are funny!!

Usually, before the final order is put through, there is an option to "expediate shipping by paying in one payment". Of course, your shipping is not done any faster, but it does accomplish the one payment. This is among the many supplement and subscription ads they push you after you're trying to check out.

I've heard you are better off to order online, as the communication over the phone is horrendous. They aren't an easy company to deal with by any means. I've personally never had a problem with them, but I've only ordered individual workouts and not sets. I think their CS is the prime reason they command such a high price on eBay.

Michele,

I just ordered P90X on-line from Beach Body two days ago. They do let you pay the full amount--they just don't give you that option until you've gone through all the crud of them trying to sell you more stuff. I, too, prefer to pay all at once.

edited to remove the extra "do"--lousy proofreadin on my part;)

Are you kidding!? I did a Leslie Sansone workout yesterday, so please don't make fun of me :p :7

Thanks Carol. I have to say, I really hate their website, and I hate that Million $ website even more. ;)

(Sorry Keith)

Lorrie, thank you for your detailed post. Oh yeah, I'm familiar with all the horror stories, which is why I approached their website with great fear and trepidation. I've heard from multiple sources that billing problems are more likely to occur with installment payments -- that if you pay in one lump sum you'll be okay. That's why it annoyed me so much at checkout when I saw I would be billed in 3 monthly installments.

I'm happy right now with Cathe and Cardio Coach workouts -- I want the P90MS for my DH. He desperately needs to do something. He doesn't get any exercise at all and I think he'd prefer Tony over Cathe. ;)

Thank you, Keith. I'll keep your offer in mind.

Ack! Why must they be so annoying!? Lol!

Diane, thank you for taking time to reply. Your comments are in accordance with everything I've heard about Beachbody. The workouts look so good -- it's too bad they're such a hard company to deal with ;(

I was loathe to order through Beach Body--I heard the horror stories. I bought through ebay from a very reputable seller and was very happy.

Michele - Not a problem - believe me, I've had issues with the site too, so I feel your pain. As I understand things, they are in the process of ironing out the problems at MDB.
At any rate, wherever you get the workouts, you'll love them. I like to mix my P90X with Cathe's "strong like bull" rotation. Very heavy stuff...
So enjoy, and I'm still here to answer questions if you need me.
Keith:)
