I've been struggling for 18 months with my wieght. Exercise has remained consistent (and yes, I've changed it up quite a bit to keep my body guessing), diet has remained the same in general terms although I've changed up from WW to Jenny Craig or just counting calories. NOthing has worked. I've consistently gained 15 lbs in the 18 months. My calories/day have been right about 1200/day except for days when I binge which isnt often enough to gain 15 lbs. I have an appt to get my thyroid checked to see if that is the culprit. But various friends have been pushing me to eat more calories (the suggestion was 1800-2000) so I was thinking maybe I needed to see a nutritionist. There don't appear to be alot in my town, acutally, only 1 and she's booked for many weeks to come.
Considering that I could 1) deprive myself, starve all the time, and still gain or 2) I could eat what I want within reason and gain, e3tiher way I'm gaining so I might as well enjoy my life more than I have been lately.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
