Ok, I am willing to check the plunge but I need to know how techincal savvy you need to be to download these things.

I have ipod nano. Are they compatible with this? I'm sure they are. Is there link or does he send you dvds?

Sorry to be a pain in the booty.

Jenn

They are easy to download! He gives you a video tutorial on how to do it. I didn't have any problem and I am the least techie person around! I have an iPod Classic, so they will work in your nano. Download them and save them in your iTunes folder. They will always be there for you!

Glad you asked because I want to know this too. Also, if any of you had to choose just 2 as your very first CC, which ones would you choose? I'd love to just go ahead and buy all 8 since it's such a good deal, but I don't think I can convince DH.:( Unless all of you have some convincing arguments to send his way!;)

Dani: For suggestions, search for Cardio Coach sale or just Cardio Coach. There was a thread at the end of last week that discussed which ones were everybody's favorites.

Jenn, CC is perfectly compatible with your Nano -- that's what I have. And like Tricia said, you don't have to be technically savvy AT ALL to download the workouts. Look here for 2 very short video tutorials on how to do it: http://www.cardiocoach.com/cc_support.php

Dani, I can give you a great argument for getting all of them -- you will love them and end up getting them anyway, so you might as well buy them when you can get 50% off (the more you buy the greater the discount ;)). :p :D

I started with Volume 1 and worked my way up because it seemed logical to me at the time, but you don't have to do that. I was a beginner when I started with CC and felt intimidated by the longer workouts. Honestly, they are all good, but I think the main favorites are Volume 2 at the low end, Volume 4 in the middle, and Volumes 7 and 8. The higher the volume the more difficult the workout, but that's only because the workouts are longer with longer challenges and shorter rest periods. Believe me, the short workouts are still pretty intense. ;)

with the current sale all 8 are only $60.00:D And from what I've been told on these boards once you buy one, you will want them all.

Tricia,

Did you try your new cc's yet? What did you think? Did you use them outdoors or with equipment? Just being nosy!;)

That is correct! :p :D
I would get them all -- I really would. After I tried Volume 1, I went back about a week later and bought the rest of them. That truly is what MOST people seem to do.

I can attest to the "once you buy one . . ." statement! I have yet to take the final plunge though only because I already ordered 2 new Cathe dvds and, most recently, killed my iPhone, so we had to get a new one and that was costly! So, I'm laying low right now! I'll have to catch the next sale!

I'm also considering getting the instrumentals next time too! Now that I'm thinking about starting some HIIT workouts, I'm wondering if the instrumentals would be good for that!

Yes! I took my Vol. 1 out for a test run (ha!) on Friday morning! I do all of my running and interval work outdoors. I don't have any equipment at home nor a gym membership. I like being outside anyway! Loved it! I didn't do the bonus challenge as I had just run up a real hill on the 2nd challenge and really felt that one! I didn't plan well on that first try! I'm going to make sure I'm on completely flat ground next time and make myself get through all 3 challenges! These are addictive! Can't wait to do it again! We've gotten into some rain again this week :( so I haven't worked out in 2 days! Yikes! I feel like a very bad girl! But, I digress! Yes, definitely get some CC! I'm really enjoying my CC!

I ended up getting 'em all. I bought Volume 1 a couple of weeks ago, LOVED it, and then this marvelous sale came up. How could I resist? I feel so good after working out to these, much better than my usual watching Soprano DVD's during my workout -- now I just watch those on the big screen TV:D

That is so awesome. I too do not have any equipment or a gym membersip. Even though I have to get new tires this week, I'm still going to splurge. :p

Jenn, any CC workout can be done outdoors and I know a lot of people who only run outside ;). Do you have a bicycle? That would be a great way to mix things up. You can ride outside or get a trainer and convert it to a stationary bike. Coach Sean is a spin instructor and has tested most of the workouts on his class (wouldn't you love to be one of his students!?), and any volume would work very well on a bike. :D
