**ONE DAY AT A TIME** JAN 2- FEB 5

Hello ladies!
Raciela: I don't know about Sears (Asics) - I ordered mine from Zappo's. I have to admit that I HATE to shop. :eek: With Zappo's, I can order & it's free shipping both ways & returns are easy! That way, I get a variety of different kinds & can compare them on the spot. I'll do a few minutes of a workout with 2 different shoes on to get a feel for which I like best. Thanks for the heads up about Disk 9! I'll have to put my game face on, as Cathe says!
Cathy: How are you doing?
I did Low Impact Challenge last night. By the time I got to the blast portion at the end, I was thinking, "I don't know if I can do this!", but I made it! I looked like I'd been in a sauna! Then, I did a portion of the back pain relief DVD, which felt really good.
It's in the mid 50's today, after being really cold yesterday, but it's pouring down rain & very, very dark! YUCK! I think I'd rather have snow & cold! ;)
My audit at work was yesterday & I had everything she needed, so it went really well, I'm happy to say. That load is off my back! Yay!

Today was Cardio for a time of 58 min & burn of 529 & a 19 min Yoga/Stretch & burn of 67. Total time of 77 min & a burn of 596!:)

Hi all,
DH's appointment got cancelled so was able to workout today!
I did STS Disc 8 Back & Triceps for a time of 56 min & burn of 395 & a Yoga/Stretch for 19 min & burn of 67! Total time of 75 min. & total burn of 462!

Hello ladies! I took a rest day yesterday. I helped my DH muscle around a couple of dishwashers, so I figured that was enough weight lifting for one evening! LOL! So, tonight, I'll be doing Disk 8.
Cathy: Sorry to hear that your DH's appointment got canceled - but I'm glad you felt up to working out!
Raciela: How's the running going? Did you find any Asics?
My office co-worker had to fly to Maryland today. Her daughter is having a baby today! Hopefully, she made it before the baby got there! So, it's been pretty busy at work today. It is cold, but at least the sun was out today! Hope everything is going well with you both!

I did STS Disk 8 yesterday evening. Athletic Training is on tap for tonight, if I have the energy! LOL
My DH got the new dishwasher put in yesterday. It's so nice having a handy man for a hubby! Our old one died on Christmas Eve.

Well, I just wasn't up to Athletic Training yesterday evening, so I went ahead & did STS Disk 9, Legs. I'll give AT a look tonight. I don't know if I'll feel up to it or not.
Raciela: Just wanted to wish you luck with your marathon! I'm sure you'll do well!
Cathy: Were you able to do a workout yesterday? I know you've had an incredibly busy week. Any chance you'd be able to go to the Chicago roadtrip? I've always wanted to go on one, but I never "saw" one in my immediate future.

Jane, I started the antibiotics yesterday for the lymph node infection & I'm taking yesterday & today off!:) Hoping to do STS Disc 9 tomorrow:D
I won't be making the RT either!

Hello ladies,
Didn't feel up to AT yesterday evening, either. I bit the bullet & purchased Muscle Max & Power Hour/Body Max DVDs. They came yesterday, so I did the step portion of Body Max, bypassing the weight work.
Cathy: I hope the antibiotics start kicking in real soon! The reason I asked about the road trip was that I thought if you were going to be able to make it, I'd try to make it, too, so that we could meet. I haven't been on a road trip - I'd like to go to one some day.
Raciela: Hope the marathon went well today!
We're covered in ice here today. DH is working on scraping off the vehicles. I got my Clean Max done today, & may try Muscle Max later this afternoon!

Just finished up STS Disk 10. Whew! Push-ups! I modified, as always, but did them all. We'll see how the elbow feels tomorrow.
I didn't do Muscle Max yesterday - my motivation evaporated, unfortunately.
Cathy: I did enjoy Body Max step portion - I love anything step. Some of her older ones have some different moves, which I like learning. I hope you're beginning to feel better, what with the antibiotics.
Raciela: Hope your marathon went well!

I did Hiit 40/20 yesterday evening, or should I say, it did me? Yowza! I hadn't done it for a long time, & I really had to modify, modify, modify! :confused:
Onto STS Disk 11 this evening!

Today was T'ai Chi with DH then STS Disc 10 followed by a Yoga Stretch:)

Jane: How did Disc 11 go last night?:D Are we doing a Recovery Week next week or moving on to Gym Styles/Muscle Endurance for the week?
Finally feeling better today & happy to be working out again:D

Disk 11 went well yesterday evening. The tricep work bothered my elbow a bit, but today it feels fine. The first time I went through STS, I was really hurting right about now, so I think using the lighter weights this time around was the way to go! Thanks again, Cathy, for that very valuable tip! But, it probably would be wise if I did take a rest week, just to be on the safe side.
Cathy: SO glad to hear that you're feeling better! Yay! Awesome news!
I'm struggling today - I always get this way when a roadtrip is announced. I know in my head that there is no way I can do all those workouts, that I can't really afford to go on one, but everyone on the forums is always so excited about them, & I get depressed. AARGH! :( I need to get over myself!!! :mad:

It's a gloomy, rainy day here...
I did the cardio portions only of Athletic Training & Slide & Glide yesterday evening. Dripping in sweat! Whew!
Tonight is STS Disk 12. Then, rest week! Do you guys have anything planned in particular for rest week? I'll have to look at my "rotation" paper this evening to refresh my memory.
Cathy: I hope you're still feeling a bit better. It must be quite a relief to you!

Today was STS Disc 12 Legs ( will do Disc 11 on Sat.) & Yoga.:)

Jane: Great workout on both AT & S&G! I think next week is free choice( whatever you feel like doing that day ) for recovery week! I was hoping to do light kickboxing, a little bit of step & yoga for next week! The sun is shining here today but the wind has a little nip to it!

I did STS Disk 12 yesterday evening. What an empowering feeling to finish Meso 1! I'm looking forward to a rest week, though!
Great job, Cathy! This leg work out was a tough one, wasn't it? Maybe I was just tired, but early on I struggled a bit. I did up my weight a bit, so maybe that was it.
Rainy again here today. No real winter here yet! It would be good to see some sunshine... I know it's shining up there somewhere, though!
 
Hi All,
Today was a walk w/dogs, the sun was shining & the wind was minimal! Then did Cathe's Total Body Stretching both Stability Ball stretches.:)

Jane: Great job on Disc 12:D How's your elbow doing?
Disc 11 tomorrow. I forgot to add ABS to my recovery week schedule! I'm afraid I've been slack on abs for January:eek: I hope you get sunshine soon!
