Hello All,
Today was Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance BONUS Combo & a Yoga Stretch!:)
That BONUS is a great workout!

Jane: I'm going to have to be more careful about rest days, as the walking the dogs is always dependent on the weather! Scheduled rest days are not working!:( I'm so glad you're enjoying the rotation, I'm enjoying this as well:)
We don't do anything special on our anniversary! I think we've been married too long!!! It snowed yesterday & we've had a little bit of snow today too:D

So for next week for Slow & Heavy how does this work for you?
SAT: REST DAY
SUN: S & H Triceps & Biceps
MON: Choice Cardio
TUE: S & H Legs & Shoulders OR Choice W.O. from Butts & Guts
WED: Choice Cardio
THUR: S & H Chest & Back
FRI: Choice Cardio
SAT: Choice W.O. from Butts & Guts OR S & H Legs & Shoulders
SUN: REST DAY

Good afternoon!
I took a rest day yesterday. By the time I went home from work, I was feeling light-headed & weak, & I just didn't feel up to doing anything, even yoga! I had also helped a package delivery man with a 110 pound rug & hurt my back. :( I'm feeling better, after aspirin, so hopefully, I'll be able to do Boot Camp this evening.
Cathy: Hope you enjoyed the Low Impact Circuit Premix. Do you use the Workout Manager? I use it to log my workouts, plus I have my Cathe calendar hanging on the wall of my workout room & I write them on there. But, I'm lazy enough that I make sure I get at least one rest day per week! :eek:
Your schedule for Slow & Heavy week looks great!
Yes, I think the longer one is married, the less one celebrates...:confused: It's just another day...

Today was Drill Max Premix: Cardio & All Upper Body & a walk w/dogs:)
Both yesterday & today's workouts left me soaked! Felt great:)

Jane: I'm so sorry about your back!:( We can put S & H on hold & do a recovery week so you can look after your back & pick up with S & H in a week or two! I do use the workout manager & I have Cathe's calender hanging on the wall & I make use of the stickers as well!

I was able to do Boot Camp yesterday evening, & it actually seemed to help my back - all that moving around must have gotten it stretched out & loosened up!:D

Thanks for the offer to put S&H off a week, but I honestly think I'm OK. I cleaned house today, & I honestly think if I keep moving, I'll be alright. I'll let you know after my workout tomorrow!
I have stickers, too, for the calendar, but totally forgot them until you mentioned them! I'll have to dig mine out & update some! That would look a lot more official than just writing the workout in.

Today was S&H Triceps & Biceps plus Stretch Max Band! Went a little heavier on the weights today!

Jane: Way to go on BootCamp! I'm glad it helped your back loosen up:)
My walk with the dogs yesterday was only 20 min, not as long as some but long enough after Drill Max!

Hope your weekend was good! The sun is shining today & it looks glorious out! It's cold, but that's OK! Had a Dr's appointment today (just a check-up), & according to her, since I was there 2 months ago, I've lost 5 pounds! Yay!
Yesterday evening, I did Slow & Heavy Legs & Shoulders. I was afraid to do Chest & Back, or Triceps & Biceps in case I had issues with my back. It was stiff, but I think it's OK now.

Jane: Great on losing 5 LBS. YAY We can still change the week if you want but maybe Yoga every 2nd day on cardio days when your good & warm might help! We got a phone call last night that our 2 grand daughters are in from a neighboring province & are coming out to visit today!:) So I may not get a workout done today!

I did HiiT Pyramid & an ab workout from Cross Train Xpress yesterday evening. I'm a bit stiff in the back this morning, but I think I'm going to go ahead & try Slow & Heavy: Chest & Back tonight.
Dreary day here today, & I woke up with a migraine. My medication has helped with the migraine, thank goodness! I go to my "migraine" doctor on Thursday. He was upset when they took me off my hormone replacement therapy, because he was afraid the migraines would come back. It will be interesting to see what he says.

Today was S & H Legs & Shoulders(this hurt my shoulder today) & an extra long Yoga(this felt good)

Jane: Great on HiiT Pyramid & abs:) Does the ab work bother your back after last week?
These GDs we saw 2 or 3 times last year & we've already seen them twice this year YAY! It started raining last night, switched to snow & we've had 6-8 inches of heavy wet snow! Apparently we've had more than Winnipeg(our capital) With the rain & snow the trees have the white frosty look to them! Absolutely picture perfect!!:D
I hope your appointment goes well Thursday!:) Do your migraines flare with the weather? Mine do!:(

Good morning,
Yesterday evening was Slow & Heavy Chest & Back. I'm able to match Cathe's weight on back, but not on chest, although I'm getting closer! The day I can do more than 2 push ups on my toes will be a day of celebration!
Cathy: I'm sorry that your shoulder was hurt in your workout. Do you think you went too heavy, or was it just too much emphasis on the shoulders?
My back was really "grabbing" me yesterday with muscle spasms. Come to think of it, Cathy, it might have been from the ab work... The back workout didn't seem to bother it, though. Go figure... It's still a bit sore today, but not as bad as yesterday. It's funny - with fibromyalgia, sometimes working the muscle that hurts, helps it. I think it has something to do with oxygen supply to the muscle - at least that's what the pros think.
That's great about getting to see your grandchildren!
Enjoy your snowfall! I know you've been wanting to get out & enjoy some snow.
I hope your shoulder feels better today!

No workout for me yesterday evening. :( My DH had a meeting in the evening, so we had to eat early. I don't like to workout after dinner, so I just went to bed early! :eek::confused:
Cathy: Good job on Chest & Back! Enjoy your snow! It was 55 here this morning, but it's supposed to get cold during the day. This seesawing of temperature is really weird.

Got a lot of catching up to do with my check-in! :eek: On Friday, I did Slow & Heavy Triceps & Biceps. On Saturday, I did Drill Max. On Sunday, I did the Low Impact Circuit of 4DS. On tap for this evening is the High Impact Circuit of 4DS.
Cathy: How was snowshoeing? Did you have a blast?
I'm ready to go into STS Meso 2 next week, as long as you are! How is your shoulder? I don't want you to push yourself too hard.

Jane: You have been busy & great job on the workouts! I'm looking forward to our weeks of 4 DS & Time Saver( more fun) I'm ready for STS 2 & whoever sets the thread up can set it for 5 weeks!
I always have fun snowshoeing & I usually have 1 of the dogs with me & watching them also makes it enjoyable:) Absolutely great on the workouts Jane!( I know I said it twice, but I think you deseve it!)

Yesterday evening, I changed my mind (LOL...why rotations don't work for me...???) & did Cardio & Weights. I hadn't done that one in forever! So, tonight, I'll do the High Intensity Circuit of 4DS. Then, I'll take a look at my Timesaver DVD. I want to work my High Step Circuit in this week, too. So many workouts, so little time! LOL

It was raining here, but the sky has lightened up a bit. It's supposed to be 68degrees today, but it may snow this weekend. What a crazy, mixed up winter!
Yesterday evening, I did the High Intensity Circuit workout on 4DS. This evening, I'm shooting for High Step Circuit. For some reason, this week seems to be dragging. Maybe I'm just chomping at the bit for STS Meso 2...:p
Cathy: How are you feeling? Are you still getting to snowshoe?
I FINALLY got around to punching holes in Anna's Compendium of Cathe workouts, STS (each disk) workouts, & all the rotations I've copied off & putting them into two 3-ring binders. Organized at last! Yay! :D
