My appreciation as well--and a HUGE thank you to the families who also sacrifice so much so their loved ones can serve. We are all in your debt.

As a military brat, I say thank you. It take alot to be in the military and many give alot

My great-uncle was in Normandy and I've read his journal. What he could manage to write. He had night terrors for years. We don't have to take sides in war, but realize that most - and I know Uncle Ray's - heart was for this country. He was a simple guy from Czechloslavakia and his parents were home-steaders in the west. But he loved this country.

Thank you, Cathe! My DH is serving the US Army for almost 30 years We had an awesome Veterans Day yesterday. ESPN played live in Grafenwoehr/Germany on Veterans Day. My friends in the US emailed us, telling us they could see DH and me live on TV.
