ON THE RIGHT TRACK

My goal is to tone my thighs, hips and abdominal areas. I have been following the Pure Strength video (1 section every other day) and doing the treadmill on the days in between (40 minutes incline and speed programs). I am on a low carb diet. I have cut out all pasta, rice and bread from my diet.
Am I on the right track for obtaining my goal? Should I be following a differant DVD?

You'll have to give yourself at least 6 weeks to see if your clothes have gotten any loser; if not, then it would be time to change your routine around a bit. How long have you been at this particular rotation? Kathy

Hi XQUZEME99! This looks like a good start. I would also like to suggest that you do Ab Hits and Leaner Legs. We have Ab Hit alone on DVD but if you want Leaner Legs separately you will need to get the VHS tape of it. Doing Leaner Legs two times per week and sections of Ab Hits three times a week (as well as the cardio you mentioned) will definitely target the areas that you want to tone most specifically. As a side note keep in mind that carbs are what fuel your workouts. If you feel drained, lethargic, and lead-legged during workouts, you should increase your carb intake some. Good Luck!

Thank you for replying to my e-mail. I will follow your advice and get additional videos to help.

I had heard about needing carbs when you work out. That is why I have been stivking to the 'better carbs' such as fruit and I have cut out the 'bad carbs' such as pasta and rice. Now and Again I will have whole wheat bread. But thangs for reminding me not to cut them out completely.
