? On Cathe Rotation

Hi guys. I am about to start my first "formal" rotation from Cathe's lists. One question I have is this. I have really been hitting my workouts harder lately, averagine about 90 minutes a day. Usually split up but sometimes all at once. I LOVE the long premixes on the dvds. My question is can you choose to do a longer premix? For instance, if the rotation calls for Push Pull, is it the traditional workout only? Or can I opt to do say, the 80 minute premix with 2 sets? I love these options but don't want to mess up results I might get from the rotation.

Thanks in advance.

Jill,

Cathe rotations are wonderful and you can definitely add to the workouts to get better results. For example, on the January rotation sheet she even mentions adding 30 minutes of intense cardio to any day's workout. So, you can definitely do a longer premix. The other night when the rotation called for Legs and Glutes, I did the Legs and Glutes Extreme Premix (it's a killer).

So, how do you like the rotation so far? I am doing it too and have decided to add a S&H body part each night for more strength gains.

Hope that helps, Wendy

Thanks for the quick reply Wendy.

I am doing the April 2004 Power & Strength workout. I moved to Cathe just a little over a month ago because I want to see more muscle definition, especially upper body. I now have enough workouts to do a rotation. I chose that one because I just got the Slow & Heavy dvd with all the workouts (btw, I LOVE that SNM puts these all on one dvd-sure saves space!)

I am just starting the rotation today or tomorrow. I'm not sure yet-I had a bad night sleeping (not sleeping to be more accuarate) and don't know if I'm quite up to Imax2 today yet. Hopefully later.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I've ever overtrained, but didn't know if there was some kind of limit to see the results I want.
