Ohio Get-together

Well - I did post an invite last week, but not many takers. CALLING ALL OHIO CATHEITES who want to get together! The Cleveland Marathon is May 18th. See www.clevelandmarathon.com for details.

I am signing up, originally under the idea of walking with my walking buddies form the 3-day, but thought it would be a great chance for us Catheites who chat on-line to get together as well. I'm walking it (though walking fast) but I know that some of you are runners and it would kill you to hang back - your choice (pssst - rumor is that Gayle <banslug> from PA and maybe Beth from Michigan is/are even coming in to join us - oh what FUN!!!!)

I am also signing my kids up for the kids events on the 17th. If YOU Catheites wish to join in PLEASE come. If we have enough, let's kick around the idea of getting together on Saturday afternoon/evening and working out (oh Mama Deb - please join us - you could LEAD that workout, or maybe Clarissa???) Then, we could get downtown hotel rooms as the race kicks off early Sunday morning. We would be done before check out time.

HOW BOUT IT GUYS?? A WEEKEND OF OHIO CATHEITE FITNESS FUN???!!!! COME ON!

pssssssssssssssst....that rumor is TRUE! I just registered!!! I'M IN!!!!!!!

My older DS overheard me telling somebody that I'm doing this event and he is BEGGING to go too! lol He's a huge Ohio State Fan and the thought of just BEING in Ohio is making him happy. So....after much thought and calendar-checking, the kids and I will be making this a 4-6 day vacation for ourselves!

I'm EXCITED!

I just moved back to Ohio and would love to go. I have run Cleveland twice, can I just do the 10k this time? I am not prepared for the marathon this year!

Also, I am definitely taking my 16 month old twins to the kids run...that will be so hilarious!

Hey Lorrie I am not sure still. Depends on our money situation. I will keep you posted. Looks like Michigan has a Lansing one I may look into for Michiganders.
