I can't believe it! Finally! It took us about 6 months, but we did it. I'm so happy and so scared at the same time.

Now we need to tell our families. When did you all tell your families?

We will wait to tell our friends at about 3 months, but I just feel family is a little different . . .

I told my family the day I found out I was pregnant in case I needed their support. I did b/c I had a difficult first few months especially. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

That's so exciting! DH and I have another 2 years before we'll feel ready to start trying, but I feel like I'll have the same reaction you did. My cousin and his wife began trying last year and in Feb miscarried after 6 weeks and had not told the extended family about that pregnancy. This year they announced at Christmas that they were 6 weeks along again and thought they should tell us for increased prayers and that it had been really hard last year when others didn't know what had happened.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful pregnancy and will be a fabulous mommy. Best wishes to you and your hubby (and your new little one :))

Oh WOW Chrissy! I am soooo happy for you! I know you really wanted this. Your patience paid off!

I have no advice since I don't have any kids. I'd tell the fam tho...;-)

Congrats!!! :)

I told my family and friends right away. I was bursting and couldn't keep it in! :p I honestly don't know if I could keep it a secret, anyways. People could tell that something was wrong; I wasn't eating what I normally was, I was tired all the time and I was crying at everything. Not to mention that my boobs were HUGE. I honestly can't really remember HOW we told our families... I think that DH made a card wishing them a "happy new year and this is how our new year is starting" with a picture of the ultrasound for one of them... I think for the middle child. I don't remember the first three months of any of my pregnancies :p
