if there is a merciful god of the NFL up in the sky...he/she will see to it that the Steelers pound the Ravens(Ratbirds) into the turf tomorrow. I truly cannot handle the obnoxiousness of the Purple Crowd any longer!
Let's have a team win the Super Bowl this year that actually plays hard all year and wins the division title instead of barely getting into the playoffs........and then deciding it's time to play.
The sad part is the Ravens made the playoffs because Pittsburgh could not hit a couple of easy field goals to beat them. What luck!
Think of me tomorrow afternoon...even if just for a brief moment.......because I will be going through some serious gameday jitters that only diehard fans get before a huge game! lol! Thank god I have spin class to calm me down and channel some energy.
Okay.....I am done rambling.......off to the gym for weight work.

A merciful god? I was looking for one when "The biggest Vikings Fan" went to her very first game which was the NFC championship against the Falcons a few years back. He didn't show. I wonder if I will ever see my team win the super bowl in my life time. I am 29. Anyway will be a fan of the team the would be fortunate enough to pick up Cris Carter. I do hope the Steelers beat the Ravens. Wish I could be home to watch. Go Bears, Raider and Steelers. I would be happy with any three of them winning the big one. Trevor - hope he shows up!!!

The Browns are gonna be a team to deal with next year I think. They seem to be headed upwards.
The Pitt-Cle. rivalry is special.........I hope the Steel can do Cle. a favor and spank the Ravens good.

Hello tboman! The Vikings/Falcons game you are referring to was the first away game I had ever been to. Yes, I am a big Falcons fan! I don't know why I am though. The year we went to the Super Bowl was the only year we played worth a flip. Anyway, the dome and the people there were nice. It was SO loud there too. We sat right in the middle of a mass of Vikings fans and they didn't seem too upset when we cheered. Of course, I did apologize everytime we did cheer. Well, I just wanted to say I was at that same game too. I too like the Steelers over the Ravens!

Hey, Trevor--
My Boyfriend and I come from PA (he's from Beaver, just North of Pittsburgh), and he is a big Steeler's fan (of course!). I, however, do not follow sports nearly as much as he does, and for awhile I lived in NC and followed not at all. It was during that time the the Baltimore Ravens BECAME the Ravens, but he told me that they were the Baltimore ANIS (pronounced anus!). I have been called gullible before, and believe it or not, I believed him.

We still call them the Anis.
